thinking about this footnote from flandre's page in PMiSS. it's oddly reassuring

brushed up my oc idea from last night, here's medetaiko again! #touhouoc #touhou #touhouproject (more info in the thread)

a drawing of a touhou mermaid oc "medetaiko"

to the left of her is a bullet point list that says the following:

"Red Snapper Mermaid"
"From Okinawa, not sure how she got to Gensokyo"
"Extrovert, but a little shy about her accent."
"Ability: Temporarily increases luck of everyone at a party."
"Likes: Fish, booze, partying"
"Dislikes: Red meat, buzz kills, violence"
"Gets sick in fresh water, mostly stays on land."

doodled up a new touhou oc her name is medetaiko, a red snapper mermaid from okinawa. she likes to party, and anyone who parties with her gets a temporary luck boost! unfortunately, since she's a saltwater fish, she gets kinda sick swimming in the lakes and rivers, so she just chills on land

alpha design for a mermaid touhou oc "medetaiko"

she has scraggly dark hair with an ahoge, tan skin, and a fish tail. she wears a flowery shirt

bullet points on the left side of her say the following

"red snapper"
"thick okinawan accent"
"farmer's tan"
"gets weaker in fresh water"

on the right it says the following

"ability: temporarily increases the luck of everyone at a party"

another one of my favorites is graze inferno. i think i just have a soft spot for bullets that react to you getting closer to them

asylum of danmaku it really gives you the sense that chimata is just throwing whatever at you to try and stop you from halting the market. the bullets turning into knives that try to hone in on you is a fun gameplay element too. my favorite part is that it's four cards in one though

the normal mode version of "asylum of danmaku", one of chimata tenkyuu's spell cards
