yeah theres like 2? 3? big clinics here in Regina. Wish there were more but SK has pretty bad flu shot uptake (never mind covid)

Trish Paton @trishpaton.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

The answer to that question is always “yes”

Goes hand in hand with his assumption that kids cost nothing.

Exactly, WHOSE IDEA OF EASY IS ALL THIS NONSENSE??

Honestly in all the years I've worked in health care (not as a provider, but research/evaluation) the season has generally started to really pick up in November.

Sad news; her reporting was superb. She’ll be missed.

Oh no! She was fantastic. Deepest sympathies to her family & friends.

Happy anniversary!! Nineteen is a great number.

There. Flu & covid shots done. Sure wish Canada/Sask would start this about a month earlier.

Gah. I don’t want my fridge texting me “hey you know you forgot that carton of milk and it’s now 3/4 full and my sensors can smell it” I can get that kind of sass anywhere. It if won’t clean out stuff gone off it’s not that smart anyway.

A salient point that should be more front & centre. Not just in the context of election operatives, but generally competent people in government - notably reduced.

Apparently LM likes the asshole.

Frankly they shouldn’t be allowed to expand until after an election. Balance of power is non-resident appointees, that sort of decision should be make by actual RM residents.

Trish Paton @trishpaton.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I read that one of the council that resigned (possibly two?) owns some of the expansion land.

Among other ridiculous things, the US alone uses about 500,000 tons of diesel a day so this fantastic deal is basically bypassing sanctions for nothing. There’s no real benefit to US here, certainly no global impact at all. Just a way to get $$$ to Putin so he can keep war-criming.

Oh, there’s Discourse. That explains a lot - the Discourse starters tend towards the humourless side of the posting spectrum.

I’m gonna try drying my tomatoes enough this year to do my own tomato powder. Should be an interesting experiment!

This sounds like the sort of thing an AI “lawyer” would spit out.

Okay, I know there are hundreds of terrible headlines every day, and we lament the ubiquity of clickbait headlines…but this is hilarious and accurate. I don’t know who writes LP headlines, but kudos to you.

These look a lot like my Venza (which I had to retire this May, to much the same sad feelings) and if it performs at all like that Venza, you'll be very pleased.

He could probably keep Pollux, it would be like hiding in plain sight. A civilian collar and a superhero collar. I mean, a pair of glasses worked for Superman.

To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...

One of America’s Last Chestnut Groves Is About to Be Destroyed for a Data Center

A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.

yeah, we really should be doing flu around 20 Sept to get response ramped up.

No, no, the pollsters have ensured more migrant caravans are on the way. From Venesuala, I expect. 😑
