Phones don't have the dual screen layout. Or come with buttons by default. Buttons are especially important. Like I have a steam deck but I feel it's very uncomfortable for emulating DS and 3DS games.

I should correct myself and say I mean new games released for old consoles. An example of this would be the upcoming release of PachiPals (though I also would love re-releases of some harder to get older games; I certainly would love to play Rule of Rose on an actual PS2 without breaking the bank)

The opening dialogue I admittedly found kind of cringe? Then it dumped me into a combat sequence I can best describe as a slower, simpler, less flashy Yakuza. It's not visually very interesting to look at either. Even the 2D art is kind of whatever? I know I just started but I don't have high hopes

When you hit new game it lets you swap between character models but this is very sluggish. Then the opening cutscene plays where text moves way too fast down the screen for me to read.

Got Senran Kagura Estival Versus and Akiba's Trip during the steam sale and while I'm having loads of fun with Senran, I'm not sure I vibe with Akiba's Trip For one the PC port doesn't seem to be particularly good; exclusive full screen does not work at all causes strange rendering issues.

I'm surprised they dont advertise the 3rd as a remaster. Backgrounds, UI, text, and and character portraits are HD in it it's a really high effort port.

SaGa Frontier is also pretty cool in how fast it gets to the action. I started on Emilia's route and I'll admit it feels a bit light on story at the moment but some of those bosses can throw hands and I'm a sucker for prison break segments in games.

Playing Legend of Mana and SaGa Frontier and man Square really was cooking something fierce in those PS1 days. Legend of Mana is my favorite of the two, one of the prettiest games out there with one of Yoko Shimomura's best OSTs with a creative take on storytelling linking smaller stories together

Galleries are essential for finding an artist's host of works, information about their characters, etc. Its also important that they're artist run, as in the artist uploads their own works, tags their own works, and no one else can tag otherwise or change the context of their works.

Seeing e621 getting brought up as an alternative to FA and like e621 is not an art gallery. Its a booru. A *gallery* where an artist can freely upload and easily make available their own works and add their own tags is very different from a website that compiles artwork and has users tag.

Type 0's HD remaster irritates the shit out of me like how did they look at this and think "yeah that's okay". The lighting alone destroys so much detail. But there's also other things, like the textured fabric of some character outfits being smoothed and given a doll look. I took these screenshots
