She quietly thanks him, and says she accepts the challenge right back at him He leaves, saying "you better clean yourself up, cause we're strong out here in Ooi" "I know, That's what makes the title worth taking"

Inari gets why he's disappointed; he told her to go pick a grand old fight with the central circuit, and now it looks like she's come running back home scared She says she doesn't deserve to explain herself to the old man yet; she has to show it through deed

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Wait lmao the reporters apparently went to Ooi to ask her mentor about her plans

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Reporters show up while they're training to ask what her plans are

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

They went to the beach for New Year's apparently....?

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

The Tokyo Daishoten's at the end of the year, which is a while away, so we'll go for the Japan Dirt Derby first

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

The trainer suggests she could win the Tokyo Daishoten, a G1 race held in Ooi, while also doing well in G1s in the central circuit during her senior year And get herself the title of "Horse Girl of the Year" that way

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

She's been thinking about how exactly she wants to accomplish her goals, and she's come to the conclusion that she wants to stand at the "peak" And not just any peak, but at the peak of both the central and regional circuits

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

She wants to talk about something now that we're going into her classic year

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Objective clear event Things are shaping up well

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Lmao wait the +5 Energy choice for the universal extra training event has the trainer going hard into the regional slang to butt in on Inari trying to do more training

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Oh god now Inari wants to do it too

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Turns out she was willingly giving the slot up because she was so moved after hearing the two of them talk about how they want to do well in their debut races Sounds like Ticket

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Racing silks event They come across what appears to be... two girls forcing Ticket to give up her timeslot for the training grounds?

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

"Which means all I have to do is get big enough in the Twinkle Series that no one can ignore what I say! I can just be a huge, loud firework that everyone has no choice but to look at!"

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Doesn't sit right with her that people are just baseline assuming the regional circuits are lower quality than central

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

A few days after her debut, Inari comes into the trainer room and yells Apparently she needed some way of letting some stress out Her classmates were praising her for her debut, phrasing things in such a way that she "moved up" from regional to central thanks to her ability

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

She excitedly runs over to the trainer in the tunnel and says she wants more, more, more of what she just experienced

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Her voice is about as expected Verges toward an alto with a nasal rasp

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Debut She's hyped up It's insanely rainy lol

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

I chose the option that just has her eat everything I swear to god if this gives me Overweight

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Random event I think She's getting buried under a pile of gifts from people thanking her for helping with random shit lol

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Yaeno's thanking her for providing the opportunity for growth through their race and Inari's just like "stop it I just wanted to pick a fight for no reason"

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

They played one of those zombie rail shooter games and Inari was just screaming at the screen the entire time

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

I was like "why Turbo" but oh yeah I forgot these two are roommates lol

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Another outing event (don't ask why I'm doing two outings in a row I'm getting some cursed rainbow stamp luck)

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

They're talking about their favorite food while waiting in line (the trainer suggested he could wait with her to help her pass the time) and she's just talking about soba Me too, Inari

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Outing event She wants to go to some ramen place but hates standing in line lol

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

She brought tatami mats into the trainer room and made a little island for herself lol Dang wait can I do that here That sounds expensive as hell but if I get a better-paying job it'd be comfy

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Oh she wants some of the trainer's time real quick for something

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Wow Oguri locked in like immediately And Inari likes a good fight

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Setting up some long-term plans She doesn't have anything specific in mind, but she wants to put on the biggest festival possible on the biggest stage the Twinkle Series has to offer Sounds like a grand prix to me

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

She's apparently getting a good amount of attention as the transfer student from the regional circuit

100

Triplicate @triptriptrip.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

>NAU Think this is the first time I've seen the in-universe equivalent of the NAR referenced in the game
