Thanks! It's for my homebrew army so this is Shas'O Vior'ghen - Commander Firestorm, but they'll be using Farsight's datasheet.

It's a marathon, not a sprint! Although at this rate the pile is growing considerably faster than it's shrinking! #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #FirestormEnclaves

Moving on now - got a few steps further today, the idea with the sword is it's bleeding plasma fire from the cutting edge, while the rest of the models is wreathed in holo-flame projectors. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #FirestormEnclaves

The guy out cleaning the street at 5am? 😂

Thanks! Got quite a bit of work to do to get that effect on the rest of the module now though!

Frantic by Metallica, that always overstimulated me!

Been off it for a few days I'll, back on it now with these Vanguard Veterans, hoping to have them ready for the codex release. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

I went bigger, got the outriders and 2 boxes of the vanguard veterans too, quite excited by this release!

This feels like a moment to celebrate - a full squad of 10 terminators, just in time for them getting better! Normally I finish stuff just in time for the nerf bat! #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

More progress! A really good session this evening and I've moved the terminators on to 80% done. Mostly edge highlighting left now. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

More layers added today, I feel like these could even get finished this week if I'm lucky. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Starting a new campaign at my club imminently, and wanted a new kind of Captain to lead my forces. Meet Jan van Rennick, Captain of Spectre Company. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Completely lost all focus in my painting the last few days. Started work on these guys today, partly because I really want to use Shrike (Captain van Rennick) in my list next week. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Work on my next army project has moved from the theoretical planning stage to the practical "get the brushes out and actually paint something" phase. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #XereanSun

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Not my finest, most original work I grant you, but when you've made up names for as many space marines as I have over the years it gets tricky coming up with something genuinely new.

I appreciate it's not long since I posted the almost finished version, but Ancient Destro is now completely finished! #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Ancient Destro of Vampire Company of the Sanguine Dawn is coming along nicely, even if I'm not a fan of the Ork skulls on the banner. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Working on an escalation campaign for my local gaming club (in Melton Mowbray). We're up to 13 players now with a nice mix of factions - looking forward to bringing updates on this platform (yes the poster is AI generated) #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

And the first one is parade-ready. I'd say it'll experience new model syndrome tonight, but does that really mean anything for a drop pod? I'd actually be happy if my opponent shot at it! #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

020

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

First of the pods is getting close now, mainly just need to finish off the metallics and do the basing plus a few highlights. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

0101

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Real life kicking in recently, but working on a pair of drop pods, finished some pill box terrain pieces and got the base blues on a whole bunch of stuff, including the Armageddon launch box. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Thanks! I'm really enjoying the added nuance in list building that the dispositions offer, and smashing my previous streak (7) is just an added bonus!

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Well a new edition brings new choices and decisions must be made. This army will be going up for sale soon, it was fun putting it together but I want to move on to the next project.

Several reasons for no painting posts recently, but today's game against the Orks in the Red Wastes of Sedu went well. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

See? Normal service is resumed! Not very obvious, but I've started on the bases and added a layer to the scrolls, oaths, crux terminatus and the bronze metallics. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

Triple D @tripled40k.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

2.5 hours last night, just on the second blue layer getting the blend right. Next up I'm going to start on the red layering. I think this squad could take a while, the 5 hammer boys were over 22 hours, these could be similar. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn

The Sanguine Dawn took on an Ork war horde this evening, sending them scuttling back to their scrap fortress in the Red Wastes of Sedu. Unit of the match was the Intercessors, taking out 17 boyz and 6 war bikes. #WarhammerCommunity #Warhammer40k #Nerdlings #SanguineDawn
