Last Sunday, we performed a beautiful afternoon concert at Festival Musica Strasbourg with music by Imsu Choi, Michelle Agnes Magalhães e Julien Malaussena. We share a glimpse of the end of the concert with Julien's piece. Thank you to everyone and we hope to be back in Strasbourg soon!

Our concert season has come to an end, and what a SEASON we have had! Some things are always present: our ice cream breaks, the search for good food, and concerts with new premieres. This season, we performed in 𝟏𝟏 (!) 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.Now it's time to recharge our batteries before the next one.

One week ago in Viitasaari, Finland performing at Time Of Music. It was a beautiful concert in such a wonderful place, surrounded by forests and lakes. We had an amazing time playing but we also had the chance to enjoy some saunas and lake swims! Thank you for inviting us! 📸: @studiosavimaki

We are looking forward to perform next 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟵:𝟬𝟬, at the Time of Music Festival in Viitasaari, Finland. Our program includes music by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗶, 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝘆, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗗𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗷𝗲𝘃𝗶ć. We are especially looking forward to visiting Finland for the very first time!

Last Sunday we had the pleasure of working with 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐨 (@montxo1968) on his piece “𝐔𝐡𝐞𝐫”. The piece will be premiered at @wittenertage on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟕:𝟎𝟎. Keeping up with our usual “composer garden” photo tradition, here is our usual photo.

On April 25th at 17:00, we will make our debut at the 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟ü𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤 where we perform world premieres by 𝐆ü𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞, in collaboration with the 𝐒𝐑𝐖 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨, and Uher by 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐨. We will also present the German premiere of Kintsukuroi by 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐬.

𝗜𝗺𝘀𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶: South Korean composer, based in Paris is one of three composers writing for Confluences #2. About her new piece she shares: “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮 is a work focused on the timbre. Each instrument explores the boundaries and pushes to go beyond to create a unique sound object, an imaginary sonic space.”

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 #𝟐 is a concert consisting of new works by @julien-malaussena.bsky.social, Imsu Choi and Michelle Agnes. The three composers explore the possibilities of collective composition in a process and work to blur the boundaries between individual works.
