More pottery! Ocarina making evening class Turns out they are harder to make than I was thinking they were even with a teacher - I made this wonderful looking dinosaur but had the 'blowy' bit of the instrument at the wrong angle. I'm gonna remake it and try again though.

Sometimes I have arty adventures... Found this lovely pottery today near Holt in Norfolk called the Edgefield pottery, we randomly saw their sign outside and went to look. I am so glad we stopped by. The owners had been there since the 70's and welcomed us to their shop-workspace like friends.

Attack No. 7 (defense - the last one) Sacha - Menhirs Fate Character Design belongs to HappyestinWinter I couldn't leave my last attack unanswered, this one was painted on the last day of art fight as a gift to the person who drew for me. I love the idea of their character dreaming of lost trees.

Attack No. 6 (defense) Echinea - World of Warcraft. Character Design belongs to Voxparadox. Another one of my Art fights, this time exploring the colour grey while painting Echinea. Gosh Ostwald grey watercolour paint is rapidly becoming my favorite especially when exploring scenes like this one.

Attack No. 5 (defense) Ferenlli - World of Warcraft Character Desgin belongs to Meirha Nothing beats coming back from an Empire Lrp to art fight attacks that I needed to defend myself against, I loved painting this one but I did mess up the sky and had to paint over it and try again a second time.

Attack No. 5 Owain - Doctor Who Character belongs to Sadgician Thought I would paint something a little different, found this Iron age little guy with textured wool cloth and freckles. Perfect. Also turns out he is also a doctor who character so couldnt resist putting a tardis in the background.

Attack No. 4 Pachanoi - World of Warcraft. Character owned by Domizormu I have never drawn Haranir before so when I saw rich purples and pale colours of this guy I thought lets go. I named this 'Pachanoi Stalker in the roots' because it was about the character and the background they are part of.

Attack No. 3 Mara - the Goblin-esque D&D Character belonging to klhprints Likely my most colourful and slightly the most disapointing of my artworks for this Artfight, they were a character I randomly found that I loved and wanted to draw. But so far their creator has yet to comment in anyways.

Attack No. 2 (Revenge attack): Reinier Verteller - Menhirs Fate Painted with watercolours and the gubbins I found on my desk, the focus of this picture was to draw a friend at the game but also a play with drawing a background that looked like his home city. Come fight me: artfight.net/~Trinkety

Had a wonderful double craft fair weekend showcasing my pottery at the Local Makers Market and then the Norwich Ceramics Fair - everything smaller than three inches. Including the now famous 'wheel of frogs' which was quite popular at the Norwich forum. Thank you all who stopped by for a visit.

I do not fanart so often anymore but when I do... I create a wonderful scene from World of Warcraft for my beloved husbean for their birthday. This is Sintesya Dawnhearth fighting some baddies on Quel'danas and I think its one of the only scenes with a blood elf I have ever painted.

Its larp con this weekend and I'll have art in the gallery again to share with the world. This years theme is 'Witches pocket' I have created a small selection of pieces themed around the contents of a witches pocket in the same style as my curio cabinet art from before... oh and one ghost piece.

I started around E3 last year taking portraits of characters at Empire before time in. It helped me get back my camera confidence and my friends collect some memories before the site move. We had the best weather. You can find some here: www.flickr.com/photos/30864747@N07/albums/72177720331690646

2025 in Drawings I look back at my year and I realise that what I first thought was nothing is still a rich tapestry of creative things I did and forgot about in the fog. I own too many art supplies and I better use them, so thats my new years plan and the rest is to keep going and keep creating.

Scrawlerbox No. 122 ‘Hocus Pocus’ Back to doing my Scrawlr art prompts with this months box arriving on my doorstep yesterday. A surprise set of pastel promarkers and melty colour pencils were fun to figure out, as the pencils make the pastels turn darker shades. #scrawlrboxchallenge #scrawlrbox

September 1st and we're going back to learning. Got a few days before I start at Mud Hub as a volunteer kiln technician and I am anxious... will I be able to do it? And excited, heck yes I am going to do it! Meanwhile in the background its time to prepare some ghosties ready for Halloween.

Menhir's Fate Drawing: Star Charts. The starseers came back to share with us discoveries they had made, I took notes and when I got home settled down to draw this star map. The names might change group to group but it was a fun challenge to put the stars together as one piece.

Working on some fan love for Esquie today, I really love the gentle weirdness of this character and the fact he gives really good hugs. I could sit and listen to him speaking for hours, especially about when things are wheee or whooo.

Eternals of Day, Autumn and Winter Another set of three Eternals drawn for Pd's Empire Larp and another visual challenge to turn what was written on the page into something that carried forward the concept. They were so fun to make especially with the splashes of colour for the crown and lava.

Eternals of Summer, Spring and Night. Over the last few weeks I had been sketching and crafting wonderful arts for PD's Empire Larp game, finally I can share them with folks now. I loved the challenge of making them match the written concepts for them and turning that into a visual image.

Looks like my first convention of the year is warming up to begin soon... so here is a little bit of fun. Trinket trading started at American Ren Faires and it seems to be catching on here in the uk. Of course I cannot be called 'Trinkety' and not have some trinkets to trade with folks at Larp con.

Created a few new ATCs before heading out to an Empire player event, I introduced a few artists there to them and gifted them over to start their collections. For those who dont know: - ATC stands for Artist trading card. - They are the same size as a Pokemon card or MTG card (2.5inch by 3.5inch).

Four small cards depicting portraits of orcs painted with watercolour paint. The top two one male and one female orc from the Winter Sun and Summer Storm armies infront of mountains and their banner. The bottom two are both orcs drinking mugs of hot tea and looking quite pleased about it.

This is my experimental 'Anvil Meetings and Seasons Greetings' Empire card, on one side you get Anvil and on the other you get Festive Winter but its proven to be a real challenge to mirror what you see through the sentinel gate. I am having really nerdy artist fun of the highest order.

#peachtober23 - Day four ‘Grub’ Stuck with using orange again in my colour palette and think I have really settled on what comes next in the set, this one was really fun to draw though now it is finished I can’t help but see eggs on the body sections of the grub rather than buggy bits. Ah well.

#peachtober23 - Day three ‘Sweet’ Follow the sweet trail to the house of the hens, there they will cook you up a treat spell or bake you into a trick. Took the choice to add more orange to this one because it needed a little warmth to the pumpkins and the sweeties. Think I might keep the orange.

#peachtober - Day 2 Cosmos Her garden is the cosmos and her cloak is the infinity of the stars. She grows the constellations and the roots of the flowers connect all of the stars. Well I got the line art for day one inktober done today but the colour didn’t happen because we got super distracted by clearing out my veggies for winter and repotting escaping strawberries. I also bought a monstera(sp) I think that is what the plant is called…oops. It was sad.

1st of October - it begins! I've chosen my list for this months art challenge. I'll be taking part in #peachtober because I just liked the look of the first ten or so prompts, they have a cosy wholesome feel to them and I love the feed of other artists also taking part in this set of prompts.

Pulled together my armoury for this years attempt at Inktober, I think the main colour themes are going to be Blue, Yellow and Sepia/Grey. My Onyx Black Diamine ink has returned again for the fourth year running and the many stickers have found their way onto the cover of a fresh sketchbook.
