California just approved $1M in funding to keep #CalAccount moving forward, bringing no-fee, state-backed accounts to millions sidelined by the financial system! No overdraft fees or junk charges. Just real access for working families.

Had the honor of speaking at LA City Hall with Councilmembers Eunisses Hernandez, Hugo Soto-Martinez, and Ysabel Jurado, as they committed their own funds to launch LA’s Public Bank plan. Institutional change takes time, persistence & collective will, but it’s happening.🏦✨ @publicbankla.bsky.social

Happy International Women's Day. Had an incredible time speaking at ShelterBox USA's panel w/ these fierce leaders: Sen. Monique Limón, LA Fire Captain Sheila Kelliher, author Mindy & ShelterBox Pres. Kerri Murray. Here's to women who transform chaos into energy, fear into fire.
