Also, Canadian's have made it harder for automobiles assembled in the United States harder to cross the boarder as Canadians are no longer buying them. Imagine having an over 40% market share drop to 28% in just over a year. Most businesses would fire their BOD over these kinds of numbers.

As per FTA and NAFTA, Canada did not take manufacturing away from the US, Canada lost manufacturing. This manufacturing mostly went to Mexico, and is still there as per those agreements.
