I decorated my graduation cap in the style of the game that partially prevented me from dropping out of art school two years ago. I had a lot of fun making it! Thank you to splatoon and the wonderful community of artists and players for inspiring this art major to keep pushing onward!

A splatoon-themed, hand-drawn graduation cap with a lavender-colored squid up top. Underneath it says "Thanks, Splatoon!" in the classic S1 font and 「イカよろしく~」, the Squid Sisters' iconic catchphrase in Japanese. On the left and right are two quotes from the Squid Sisters' dialogue from the splatoon 3 grandfest. "Without all the stuff that happened in the past, we wouldn't be who we are now." "You're right! Our shared memories are our greatest treasures!" Beneath the text is Callie and Marie's classic dialogue icons and a sticker of a purple inkling girl in a school uniform.

(1/4) "Negative Space," a chapter from my story, "Tales of the Adventurers," that was used in my senior thesis art show for uni.
