Car pulled up next to us while we were taking the pup out. Guy didn't say anything but kept opening his doors and trunk + backseat was full of tarps. Then he sat there with his lights on while we went back in the house.

3 - Weetrill is holding the locket tightly to his chest and looks around uncertainly

Weetrill: …Magpie?

4- A massive reveal shot of Magpie’s home in the top boughs of her tree. The room is wreathed in leaves and branches on all sides, with sunlight beams dappling in. Weetrill strides away from the elevator. There is a massive pile of trinkets and treasures to his left, most of them shiny. There is a pink floral human-proportioned teacup to his right, sitting on its side so that small creatures can sit on its lip like a hooded seat. In front of Weetrill is a massive, vacant bird’s nest, with a small ladder leading up to its lip. 1 - Weetrill holds the locket over his head to give the enormous Witchbird a closer look.

Weetrill: I fell off a branch looking for breakfast and landed splat on top of it.

2- Weetrill’s face is barely visible behind the locket clutched in his arms

Weetrill: Lucky I didn’t break my neck.

3 - Magpie lifts the locket by the chain with her beak

Weetrill: But it’s a treasure bauble, isn’t it?

4 - Magpie sets the locket on the ground between them and eyes it with wicked scrutiny as Weetrill continues,

Weetrill: What’ll you trade for it?

5 - Magpie’s large red eye is reflected in the locket’s gold metal

Weetrill: That’s impossible I– there must be some mistake! I’m too ordinary for a Destiny!

Magpie: Ordinary? Thou dost jape! Thy life is wreathed in riddles!

4 - Magpie scrutinizes Weetrill closely

Magpie: Mayhap thou hast seen such a shape before? Did once thou see its like in the time before thou didst come to our grove?

5 - Weetrill looks away, annoyed at the question

Weetrill: You know I don’t remember anything

6 - Magpie’s talon turns his face up to meet her eyes

Magpie: But try, young Weekin.

There are so many environmental, economic, and social reasons why a mass high speed rail construction movement would be an indisputable good for the world. But a small, personal benefit would be that I'd get to ride a choo choo train every day. I think that would help me keep a lot in perspective.

I just think it's very neat that dogs have dog friends. Wassail has a not small collection of best buds from the walking trail and dog park, and he has specific, personal connections with each of them. It's so wonderful.
