half the character of my drums in stuff like this comes from them being a ton of stacked and looped recordings with oneshots on top for kick and snare, and then vulf compressor brings the floor up reeeally high

also yes i made it do bad apple. the timing is a bit off because rather than using a 60Hz timer it's just delaying 60ms at the end of the loop. each frame being 8 bytes means this fits in a very small amount of the onboard flash (i'm also implementing w25q flash so larger things can be stored!)

remembering one time i wanted my song to slow down but i did not want to automate the tempo (it was doing something annoying) so i went in a second arrangement and RECORDED it slowing down and then put EMPTY PATTERNS ON THE RHYTHM so i could line things up MANUALLY in the piano roll
