DAY 2 MARKINGGG Had to be Raath, even though i think several of the TCM guys would be into marking up MC in various iterations. I really love writing feral characters so much /dreamy sigh ellipsus.com/read/5n1QuZ5...

Happy Kinktober!! I have had ZERO time to prep so my contributions may be thin this year but I am truly excited to see the level of raunch and decadence this community will bring!

Implemented this neat little shiny crossfade as the menu shifts from Normal TCM to Uh Oh Raath's here. Will probably add a bit more pizazz to it as i go but I like where we're at for today heheh.

I am TWOish days late because I've been balls-to-the-wall busy this last week, but please let me take a moment to appreciate a fictional character's birthday- Happy Birthday, Marcel! Thank you to atlas/b00k3t for the pinup; I want to print this up like a trading card and keep it in my wallet.

Marcel with a charming, if smug smirk, lifitng up his shirt to show his stomach and open fly. The viewer gets a nice peek at his sea green undies.

Just submitted Raath's steam page for review, as a lil treat have this headshot/study Birdie did while trying to pin down Raath's features for some close up illustrations. When I first dreamed him up he had very utilitarian close cropped hair but eventually it became long and curly- which i ADORE.

A simple digital sketch of Raath looking down with detailed emphasis on the shape of his nose, jaw, and eyes.

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better. Let's be supportive to the people that make this a better place! 💞

I will be and thats the solution for the foreseeable future! but i worry about what will happen if itch kowtows to payment processors again. If I cant monetize my work there, I cant use it as a marketplace. Fingers crossed we're at least at some kind of stable equilibrium for now.

I've had German players ask how they can play TCM and I'm not sure what to tell them. you can play 18+ AAA games in germany cause those companies can pay exorbitant submission/annual fees to the USK to get distribution approval. Until germany chills out on content tho my hands are kinda tied. :(

150

Tri City Monsters 🔞 LGBT Visual Novel @tricitymonsters.com · 14/09/2026

to be honest, i'm not at all surprised Raath's story wasn't approved. TCM itself is banned in Germany, China, and I think one other place. Germany actually has a manual appeal process but has many fees (several k) per submission and I am not a developer with that kinda cash to throw around.

Still roughing out the UI for Raath. I've been working on a lot of color stuff + using various blindness simulators to make sure things retain clarity. I test for ~8 common blindnesses, but here's some Protanomaly, Protanopia, and Acrhromatopsia tests. Last pic is full color.

Tumblr asked so I'll share here too: A super early look at a rough concept for Raath's header art. I'm excited to announce that @/mineshaft_birdie has come aboard to take on Raath's cg art and key visual. (Atlas is still on sprites of course!) You'll love what Birdie's doing for Raath, trust me.

Great advice!! I typically put all my graphics through a color blindness simulator towards the end of the process but implementing it sooner especially when im having trouble could be a big time saver! 💜

I've been reworking some of the choice wording to make the consequences a little more evident- either in the choice wording itself or in the immediately following lines. This has actually been a huge challenge for me but I think players will be pleased with the new clarity and smoothness.😎

A clip of a document with two choice options. The first one reads "I see where he's going with this... It's smart." and the choice options beneath are "You can't take a risk like that!" (human ending +1) and "It's clever" (monster ending +1). The next choice block is highlighted in green and is the newer edit. It reads "I see where he's going with this." and the two options read "What if you get hurt?!" Human ending +1 and "It's clever" monster ending +1.

Been working on SO much recently but on top of writing up a big post about what's coming in TCM's 1.1 update, someone else is getting their steam page built~

A screencap of steam app titles. Tricity monsters and both of its soundtracks take up positions 2-4 but the number one slot says Tri City Monsters: Raath with no thumbnail and a notice that says Store Page not Live.

1. Just to be clear, the KIDS Act contains #KOSA 2. KOSA has a rider that nullifies state AI regulations & puts a moratorium on future ones, which is not only bad in itself but also means this alleged "child safety" legislation SHIELDS AI NUDIFIER APPS - the same ones used on kids' & teens' pictures
