I wish I could teleport back to this Cortado near Oranienburger Tor. I'm still flabbergasted that my phone could capture it like this (portrait mode).

A steaming cup of cortado on a wooden café table in a Berlin café. A darker wooden floor is visible behind the table and a brown sofa and chairs are out of focus in the background.

Give me this with an OLED display, you cowards. So much more fun to look at than Liquid Glass.

An iPod Touch running iOS 2.2.1 with icons from the skeumorphic era - the background is completely black.

When a book fails to provide an index, you just have to take matters into your own hands. I wish that were the only thing about this book that makes me a bit grumpy. Still, it’ll get used. #C64 #books

The book Assembly for C64 with around 60 little colored index markers with handwriting on them.

Judge for yourself: Which player area seems more reasonably sized for finger input? #PocketCast #LiquidGlass #Apple

Finally, finally weekend. Time to dig in properly.

I haven't really used my Sonos gear that much, but finding the Study Hard station may well change that. All instrumental. No easy listening bullshit. Currently listening to Pelican - Ephemeral.

@andycarolan Good morning! Quiet day here. I’m a big fan of Weather Strip and it is pretty good for my location. I particularly like the weekly overview below today’s weather.

Weather forecast displaying a current temperature of -1°C, feeling like -4°C. No snow expected for the next hour. Includes additional details such as wind speed of 4 m/s and good air quality. The forecast shows varying temperatures and potential snowfall. It is very visual using curves and a time-based + graphical overview (like snow filling up a graph for increased chances of snow) for a week forecast.

[Original post on social.linux.pizza]

Jeg ved ikke helt, hvor ofte jeg egentlig griber ud efter anus, men det må have været nok til at lave en playliste over.

One of this year’s home-made Christmas presents made me think of @llamasoft_ox and @gilesgoat for some reason … :D

A knitted pot holder featuring a pattern of white sheep with black faces, each wearing a red pixie hat. The background is dark green, and the edges are finished with a red trim. The square is placed on a textured red lace surface.

Ok, #MorphOS. This isn’t cool. At all. I’m literally mid-upgrade of the OS.

A computer screen displays a warning message from MorphOS, indicating that the unregistered system will timeout in a minute, potentially slowing down. It advises cancelling active tasks and includes a link for registration.
