It's September! It's Bisexual Awareness Month. So just so you know every character in my writing is queer by default.

More character art of Clayton, Miranda, and A'eryn. This time chibi! Still does a pretty good job of showing off their personalities.

Incantations are words of power spoken to give intent to mana. Each caster has their own style. Here's a little taste of Miranda's: "Sky above, hear my refrain! Steal away the sun and drown out the flame! Let thunder roll and heaven pour—open the clouds and GIVE! ME! MORE! DELUGE!"

What kind of music do you use to stimulate your creative flow. I was writing and a song that so perfectly for my project I got distracted and daydreamed a full anime style opening for my book.

I'm developing mechanics for an RPG using the setting of my book. Last night I finished up the culture docs for the Dwarves and Halflings Halflings in my setting were a seafaring race that built their capital city on a floating barge. While Dwarves carved homes into mountain peaks. AMA about them

In case you've never seen Disney's Onward, this is Barley Lightfoot. This movie was the first time I realized that elves didn't have to be twinks, it also showed elves that weren't reclusive forest dwelling elitists. I think that subversion of expectation largely influenced my design choices.

I want to be more active on this account and talk more about my writing and creative journey/struggles. But that's a kind of vulnerability that I struggle with. So to encourage consistency I'm gonna do themed posts daily. At least once a day. Schedule to be determined

Fat men in media are often the comic relief or the sexless best friend. I wanted to see someone built like me as a fully realized competent character and as the protagonist's main love interest. So. I wrote him. Inspired by Halsin and Barley Lightfoot. A'eryn is an elf with some meat on his bones.
