I've seen some weird discourse around the pitch of Brutal Legend 2 development being a Kickstarter $100m stretch goal. The assets will all need to be remade. The talent cost alone will have skyrocketed from the original 2009 release. Games of that expected scale are expensive with no corpo backer.
