Trump doesn't actually like steak. He insists that his steaks be "well-done, and anyone who eats their meat "well-done," cooked until it has no flavor, has no idea what actual steak tastes like. Trump may like tasteless stuff that looks like a steak, but he has no basis for claiming to "like steak."

The idea that Europe is somehow at fault for the existing breach with the US is so absurd that no one outside of the most extreme MAGA circles could take that idea seriously.

I will continue to assume that Dems ability to actually win state-wide in Texas will be another mirage this year too. But the MAGA/GOP's obvious concern and even fear about that possibility does seem very different from previous elections, right?

Booker is a complete corp Dem tool. He is owned by the Wall Street and Silicon Valley billionaires. He would be a minimal improvement over Schumer. Dems can do so much better.

Alex Bergan, from San Diego, gets the last word tonight folks. Me, I'm done. Going out for pizza and Hawaiian rainbow cake to celebrate my birthday. Enjoy your evening. Ohh and thanks for the birthday wishes. Good night.

Fuck you, Dems have to play by "the rules," even after MAGA GOP refuses to do so repeatedly and we have all lost multiple rights to a fascist S.Ct. Only a wealthy, straight white man would suggest this. Again, go fuck yourself.

I hope NATO makes it clear that if Turkey gets attacked because it is "defending" the Saudi dictators, NATO is not obligated to respond and help Turkey.

Well the chance Jeffries and his "leadership' team will actually do that is close to zero. Tell me how many times Jeffries has mentioned data centers? I've never heard him bring that subject up. Why? His corp pundit advisors have told him not to raise that issue or anything else negative about AI.

Who cares? Why are you all posting and reposting anything about what this corp Dem tool has to say? You are just giving him oxygen, why do that?

Axelrod is at the very center of the DC corp media. He is the penultimate corp Dem pundit. He and Rahm are about as simpatico as is possible.

Anyone who doubts corp media is a thing just needs to see this and try to offer any other explanation for why they would give this idiot free air time. Literally no one outside the DC beltway corp circles thinks Rahm is a viable candidate, no one. The corp Dem powers that be are grasping at straws.

Remember CJ Roberts thinks Trump has absolute immunity for stealing this money to run campaign ads. I hope a federal prosecutor challenges that in 2029.

It's truly absurd that Maggie Haberman and her NY Times buddies can't bring themselves to say, even once, that these blatantly illegal ads are in fact illegal. Instead they repeat ad nauseam Trump's ridiculous arguments for why the ads are supposedly legal.

Trump Directed Use of Taxpayer Money for Ads Praising His Presidency (Gift Article)
The government-funded ads show just how much President Trump has been able to use federal money for his own aims.

I'm fine with her losing. I don't think Dems need this seat to get a majority and I care more about the message her loss might send to other corp Dems.

Personally, I'd like to see an investigation of Jennings. He seems fine with Trump's attacks on the press, what harm could a subpoena or two directed at him do?

LOL, compare this blunt and accurate description with the @nytimes headline and story.

treeesq.bsky.social @treeesq.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
And remember these are Trump's cooked numbers. @nytimes.com headlines makes me LOL. Imagine how they would have described numbers like this for Biden. They would not have said "slower than expected growth," that much is certain, and the word "recession" would have been in the story.

Any Democrat who even suggests that any Dem should honor such a designation needs to be primaried and/or drummed out of the party.

It's remarkable that this is not a major discussion topic for the DC pundits. Trump uses language and threats all the time that are pretty obviously describing the result of using nuclear weapons.

Pretending that Al Gore and George Bush were the same and it didn't matter who won was the big lie that got us to where we are today, and it was a lie told by people who called themselves liberal and progressive. Sad that some of them, like this idiot, still defend what they did.

We have a true war criminal, the primary author of Bush's illegal torture memo, advocating for even more brutal executions in the US. How nice. And Berkeley must be so proud that they gave this war criminal a tenured position on its law faculty.

GOP anti-choice folks said they just wanted abortion to be a state law issue? Now we see that they respect state laws re abortion, but only if those laws outlaw abortion. If a state's laws allow abortion access,anti-choice states can sue to get those laws thrown out. GOP version of "states' rights."

How can not one of those reporters ask him what is wrong with him? That is not normal. Everyone can see it. Everyone in the WH press corps is clearly engaged in a conspiracy to not discuss what is physically wrong with Trump. The real question is why?
010
treeesq.bsky.social @treeesq.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
For every one of these "Trump voters who now regret her votes" stories, the reporter should play them a tape of Trump expressly promising to do what they are now upset that he is doing. Asking them to explicitly apologize for their votes and for being so self-absorbed should be a part of each story.

Duckworth really needs to answer questions about her recent statements suggesting Dems should not investigate or impeach Trump if they get back a majority in both chambers.

We need for more "academics" to get mad about what this court is doing. The urge to be polite and maintain decorum should not be a one-way street. The 6 fascist justices breach the rules of "polite society" every day, hiding behind legalese in their orders, but the actual harm caused is way too real.

But they still use carefully chosen language, "falters," LOL, that intentionally and grossly understates just how hard Schmitt fell on his face. The Times euphemism editor had to be working overtime.

The judiciary in New York state is so stacked in favor of the wealthy. Almost every judge, especially at the appellate level, seems to be bought and paid for. They've helped Trump with every one of his state-court appeals

Tons of credit to @cnn for airing this. It's all too rare to see the DC corp media use the word "liar" when discussing Trump's constant and blatant lying. I'm convinced @nytimes.com has an editor employed full-time to come up with euphemisms for Trump's lying, since they refuse to call him a liar.
030
treeesq.bsky.social @treeesq.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
What's really amazing, in a very bad sense, is that the DC media has moved on and let him get away with this.
000
treeesq.bsky.social @treeesq.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
You suggesting that the DC media's concerns were about anything other than themselves and their profits is really outrageous and is just you repeating the corp propaganda. Its all BS and shame on you for repeating it as if it's true.

The Corp media really wants Rahm the lying fascist to be viable candidate in 2028.I don't know anyone outside their bubble who has Rahm on even their"long list."The man lied to cover up a bad police shooting/murder just so he could get reelected. He is electoral kryptonite, but the Times is clueless.

I've watched you defend Garland before, but I don't buy it. He never expressed any sense of urgency about any of it. He's known for his caution and dithering. Point us to even one motion to expedite that he filed to make things move faster.

Why are people defending her? She's a terrible human being. MAGA would be all for deporting anyone else who spoke with that kind of accent.
000
treeesq.bsky.social @treeesq.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
She's had literally decades to learn how to speak English without that ridiculous accent. She clearly does not speak English for most of her daily interactions. My bet is she speaks Slovenian with Baron. For everyone else the MAGA folks would treat that lack of assimilation as grounds for deportation.

Surprised by this. Duckworth has been pretty good, I thought. This sounds like we need a primary challenger for 2028. I can think of several good candidates in Illinois.

Newson seems to be forgetting that he has to first run in primaries where the overwhelming numbers are pro-choice and quite progressive, except in a few southern states. He'll lose the Cali primary if he keeps this up, LOL.

How is it that a woman who has been in the US, married to Trump, for literally decades, doesn't speak English very much? IF a Dem first lady did this do you think MAGA would giver her a pass? And don't say "we are better than them." The "we go high when they go low" BS has NOT worked out for Dems.

Sorry, her accent is so thick she is barely understandable. I know plenty of people who have lived in the US for far less time and speak much better English, including plenty of Slavs. She is part of the party that insists everyone must fully assimilate. Stop creating a double standard for her.
