iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

This is really beautiful and important work from @treebeerd.bsky.social. Beyond his incredible storytelling, Kelly's honest and emotional view on depression is something I think a lot of creatives (myself included!) can relate to.

Thank you, David. The more I hear about getting over that initial nervousness and getting comfortable with therapy, the more in focus it is for me. I think.

So I made a comic about my struggle with depression. It was a tough one but I feel loads better now that I've got it out of my system. I hope you may be able to find hope in it if you're struggling. treebeerdstuff.com/2026/10/05/d...

Been brushing up on some things. Reading the Eisner books for the first time. These books sit on the bookshelf next to my drawing table. If you've never checked them out and make comics I highly suggest.

I've been doing this comic in my free time the past couple weeks. It might be the hardest comic I've ever tried to do.

And this isn’t even the most gonzo splash page in this issue!

I'm so excited to wake up every day and find out what new avoidable horrors, just plain outright stupidity, and litteral evil the people in government have cooked up since yesterday.

If you rape someone you, 100%, with NO doubt, a more truer thing has never been stated, deserve to have your life ruined AT THE VERY LEAST. THE. VERY. LEAST.

Of course they convinced the dumbest dude in the room it should be called "Super Intelligence". Also.. I don't know that I've ever, EVER, experienced someone being as bad at naming things as trump. Like... wow. What a goober.

By all means, make informed decisions on what games you play. But don't let the internet convince you not to enjoy something that you do. Wolverine has a pretty good story, I enjoy slicing and dicing with them claws. Do other games do it better? Sure. But they don't have Wolverine.

Meaning that like Crimson Desert, Beast of Reincarnation (both of which I enjoyed) it will probably recive numerous updates to "fix it". The complaining about "hand holding" in the Wolverine game is kinda... I don't know. Silly. But they already made it so you can turn assists off. So there you go.

I enjoyed the Wolverine game. Sure, it's not perfect. One of my biggest complaints was going to that from Onimusha:Way of the Sword. Because Onimusha is pretty damn good. I had more fun with Onimusha because it felt fully thought out. Wolverine feels like another game that will get better over time.

Myself and @sebastiangirner.bsky.social can promise you that the next issue of THE DEAD AND THE DAMNED will have the most skeletons of the whole series. Maybe of all time in all of comics. There are a lot of two page spreads coming.

Had a cool commission request where they wanted a poster to represent the Florence + the Machine show they went to with their husband. Then later they asked about maybe changing it to something from their trip to Scotland. Since I hadn't started anything yet I suggested "why not both!"

I consider that the Wolverine game is really good based on the only real negative things I've seen in early reviews is "whaa! This isn't like Spider-Man at all!?". I knew people were gonna make a big deal out of a not open world. Keep me confined, damn it! I don't have time for 40 open world games.

Here's a fucking message on a peice of fucking God damned garbage paper. I started this to take the edge off of my slip into a bad days work and I think it made it worse. But you know what? Nothing. I'm just grumpy now.
