I wrote a book about pro ballplayers, melodrama, and why these guys being bad stage performers created more authenticity for their images. To be fair, the total interested audience for this overlap is less than the number of people in a small town, but I'm from a small town so I'm fine with that.

Our cat is currently watching Looney Tunes. He seems to be very impressed by Sylvester and is nodding occasionally. He just rolled on his back to be able to see better. (I couldn't get a pic of him and the tv based on where he's lying in the room.)

A worthwhile trip to the (not so) Local Card Shop. Making progress on both Bob Forsch and Tom Herr. I will likely resume Tom Pagnozzi and start Fernando Vina before the end of the summer. Also picked up complete sets of 1984 and 1985 Topps.

Heated bed AND a sunbeam? Someone is living the life this afternoon.

Sorry, folks. Can't move. Looks like I have to watch college football the rest of the day.

She looks slightly heavier in the picture than in reality, but it's the holidays and it's been a rough year so I'm in no way shaming her at all. In fact, I make sure she gets a few treats every day when my wife isn't looking. Not that she can't have treats, but it is probably important to keep her at what would be a healthy weight for a cat because I would like to have her around for a long time.on the other hand, her litter mate died at just under two years old so I want her to enjoy herself while she's here.
