Why has the FBI director's book "The Plot Against The King" been mocked so little here on Bluesky? Because its portrayal of Donald's royal pretensions and Kash's alcoholism hits too close to home?

I attended two #TeslaTakedown protests, in Devon and West Chester PA. About 10 protesters at each, many #Indivisible members but some from other activist groups, and some solo. The ratio of supportive honks to abusive gestures was about 50:1, not bad!

Yes! Politician-voter feedback loops are described in the freakin' Federalist Papers, but Dems haven't innovated in this space since OFA was shuttered 17 years ago. For years I had a hobby of pitching 'let's try modernizing fireside chats' to Dem politicians. I got very little interest from them.

Graphic describing 'Online Fireside Chats', envisioned as part of a feedback loop where voters 'provide input into current public policy issues' and politicians 'explain their policies to generate support for them. All interactions are online so voters don't have to personally participate to benefit. A similar - but lower-tech - feedback loop is discussed by Madison in the Federalist Papers.
