I do this with my refs, makes it way easier to color pick. Despite that, I also put color swatches in just as a precaution. You should also not have a background that blends into the character's colors, sometimes using a complementary color for the background helps define the character.

I can agree with this, even though I'm guilty of it. A way to work around it would be to make it blend with the fur coat, like a trail from the back of the head down to the upper part of the back maybe.

Got some art to post here, First one's my skeleton oc Century Gothic receiving a nice gift from @serifplum.furobesity.net in the form of a skelepig form, lost IQ, and tons of blubber. Second, since I've been busy with moving and getting a job, I've neglected @miekki.bsky.social, so I fixed that~.

Serif, the superchub sugarplum skelepig on the left, is holding a tray of pig-shaped hotdogs, and feeding them to Century Gothic, the red now-turned skelepig on the right. Cent is looking like he's enjoying, if he hasn't completely lost is brain cells to horny thoughts and obesity.

Travis is giving Miekki a good fucking, plowing the moth's fatass and pumping him with so much cum that he's ballooned out and belching up cum. Meanwhile the tanuki is enjoying the domination a lot, not realizing that this could end with many, MANY babs.
