Temperatures tonight will fall to the 40s and 50s. Saturday will be beautiful and the sunnier day of the weekend. Clouds thicken later in the evening but we will remain dry for the UVA game. Sunday will be cloudier with a few sprinkles and highs in the lower 70s.

Temperatures overnight will be mainly in the lower to middle 60s. Highs on Thursday will reach the 90-degree mark for many and it will be a very humid day. Showers and storms will be possible after 2pm, but severe thunderstorms are not expected at this time.

The morning will be the wetter half of Friday. Some early-afternoon sunshine may lead to isolated showers around UVA / high school football time but the majority of central Virginia should be dry until late Friday night. Best news: no severe storms are expected on Friday.

Temperatures won't be as cool overnight. Highs reach the lower 90s on Thursday and any showers & thunderstorms during daylight hours will be isolated in nature. Central Virginia will have a better chance for showers & (non-severe) storms overnight into Friday morning.
