Without saying your age, post your favorite film that released the year you turned 18.

They meant then “Travis Johnson” not the “Travis Kelce.” Obvious typo on NYT’s part, right? I mean, I was rocking this in 92.

New idea for Commander Shepard casting. Same thought: alternating back and forth as FemShep/MaleShep without mentioning it.

"Operation British" was some nasty work. I'm not sure how we can do "good people on both sides,"when this is the opening move of the One Year War.

Seriously, I don't know how Haven wasn't a bigger phenomenon. It's like pure distilled early 2000s Canadian sci-fi by way of Stephen King. All this needed was an appearance by Roland and his ka-tet.

The depiction of Scotty in The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail was exactly how I expected Scotty to behave with Kirk. It was similar to how McIntyre wrote him in Enterprise the First Adventure.

The Left's biggest failing is we don't hit them like this often enough. The Dems started to in 2024 with the "weird" thing, but gave up quickly. The Trumpist Right are weird, scared, lonely little men and are nothing to emulate.

"All Biden had to do was..." "If only Kamala had..." No. If you hadn't gotten wrapped up in your TikTok cause of the moment, and if you'd had the brains to actually understand and vote for harm reduction, the Nation's Capitol wouldn't be under military occupation. This is your fault.

I am a little disappointed by this list. Nog never made it past Lieutenant?! Disrespectful. Tom Paris never made it past Lt? Kind of makes sense but ruins the Star Trek Online continuity. Data never gets promoted? I thought Bashir was promoted past Lt on DS9?! And the order? What order is this?!

You’ve inherited a movie theater, what’s your first double feature? Matilda (1996) and Akira (1988)

A young Mara Wilson joyfully raising her arms as she telekinetically makes playing cards and chips dance in the air.

Testsuo from Akira agonizing as he telekinetically makes the wreckage of the 2016 Tokyo Olympic stadium rise through the air.

Nothing enraged me more as a kid (I obviously had a pretty good childhood) than the way this artist drew the ships in Star Trek comics. I still get the Arthur fist when I see it.
