Finished! The classic that started my love of drawing movie posters. I did one way back in 2000… but this new one truly captures how awesome this flick is. #fullcircle #slc #punk #movie #poster #art

Finished! Sometimes as an artist (and film fanatic) I do these posters for myself. While I’m sure there will be a handful of folks out there who love this flick, it will absolutely not be a huge draw. But that doesn’t matter. This is a criminally unseen and underrated crime masterpiece. #belly

Any fans of this cult gem? One of the best soundtracks of the 80s hands down. #art #drawing #movie #poster #rocknroll #80s #retro #music #cultclassic #streetsoffire

An old poster I drew and designed for our (very) low-budget horror/comedy feature-length anthology movie, "Instruments of Evil" (2016). Thanks for looking! #lowbudgethorror #horrormovies #independentfilm #horrorcomedy #movieposter #zombiemovie #zombies #horroranthology

Did a little color warmup sketch of Rodan from Godzilla: King of the Monsters this morning.

A color sketch of Rodan from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. He is dark red and mostly in shadow.

all done with my new painting! I'm hoping to be part of a street art themed art show this summer - so maybe this painting will end up in that show if I'm lucky! #wutangclan

Being a bit sick isn’t gonna stop me from doing what I love. Lines are done… and I think I got just about every character and gag in this thing lol. That was pretty important to me since this was a seminal film for me in my youth. #wip #art #weirdal #uhf #movie #poster #design

CRIMINALLY underrated horror gem. The precursor to From Dusk ‘til Dawn and one of the most stylish vampire movies ever made. Plus the iconic Grace Jones makes this a bonafide classic. #horror #poster #art #movie #vampire #gracejones #80s #retro #strippers #scary #stylish

My wife and I got to see Wicked this past weekend. Just beautiful! I grew up with musical theater and performing arts. My mom, grandmother and all my aunts were all performers, all musicians. This is for them.

As one of the very first horror films I was ever allowed to watch, this one holds a special place in my heart. Easily one of the best vampire movies in the genre. #horror #movies #poster #art #vampire #frightnight

Sometimes as an artist, you are fortunate enough to merge your art with your other passions or interests. For me it was meeting Justin from Dance With The Dead at a convention and having him ask me to design a shirt for their tour. This was the first of two. Dream come true. #horror #darksynth #art

I still can’t believe Tony is gone. Far too soon for such a prolific and inspiring actor. I was lucky enough to meet him twice and to give him my Candyman art. He was so fun, kind and respectable. Truly a lost talent. #TonyTodd #Candyman #horror #movie #poster #art #RIP

A fairly underrated film that was REALLY ahead of its time socially and racially. And it has a completely unique aesthetic and feel. Part of Wes Craven breaking away from the Freddy zeitgeist he’d made and proving he could still make new and interesting horror films. #horror #movie #poster #art

A childhood favorite. And while Gremlins, The Howling and Piranha are in my top 100, this is the Dante movie that truly built inspiration in me at a young age. The 80s rarely talked down to kids… we were expected to grow up fast. And this movie was a part of that. #80s #retro #movie #poster #art

Years ago I made a set of 9 STNG retro designs. Not sure if I will resurrect these, but I sure did enjoy making them. Maybe I’ll try to kickstart an enamel pin or printed coaster set.

I got commissioned a few years ago to make a special edition piece for John Kassir (the voice of the Crypt Keeper). He loved it and it was one of the funniest and most kind interactions I’ve ever had with someone who was a huge part of my youth. If you get the chance, meet him. #art #horror #fanart
