It's a sad day today. We received almost 7" of rain overnight & it flooded my basement with 1-2" of water. Among the damages, a full long box of comics that was set to get new bags/boards. I will have to check each issue to see what is salvageable. 😭

The most important part of tonight's #TheTraitors episodes? Definitely that Alan Cumming's wardrobe is AMAZING!! 🧡

Virgil the #APBT & Palladas the #BostonTerrier both went to explore Bark Park Omaha today (at Elkhorn #1). Based on the solid 12 hrs of sleeping that followed, I'd say they had fun!

Watching #TheTraitors tonight... "But I'm a sweaty boi!" is now stuck in my head 🤣

Honestly this is the most surprising part to me. Kraft is the *real* villain here. I'm not arguing that Sheeran did the "right thing" by folding faster than paper, but he has a brand/image. For all we know, it's in his contact somewhere to be publicly neutral.

Watching soccer in a football town makes for... "Interesting" reactions from the other customers 😆 (We are very loud) #OneMeansAll

It's a slick looking jersey. Makes me wish I was close enough to attend. 😢

Trying to describe my own form of #anendophasia & #aphantasia to people with "full A/V" thinking is so hard! So far, my best attempt is: It's like watching a movie with Audio Description turned on & the screen blacked out except for subtitles.

Sadly, I've been busy this month & missed a lot of the #LeaguesCup. Thankfully, I noticed tonight that the championship is this Sunday. Sad to not see any MLS teams survive, but also super happy to see Liga MX guaranteed the title in a fledgling cup!

It's a good night for @unionomaha.bsky.social soccer. ~2800 attendance if I heard the announcement right.

Geeze... Marketing for the Leagues Cup really missed an easy window of attention starting so soon after the World Cup. Heck, even AppleTV had more adverts for the *MLS regular season* than Leagues and they're showing it!

Ok... Of all the colabs, I did not expect "Pathfinder X Seattle Mariners". Watching a game, while playing a game, using themed dice? Just wish I lived closer to Seattle.

2 years ago today, having just entered my 40's, I left a vastly underpaid job to join @smart-union.bsky.social, Local 3. Contrary to claims, I found a group that not only welcomed me with open arms, but hitherto strangers that took an active interest in my life & interests.

Such a breathtaking sight. You can just barely make out the atmosphere in Artemis 2's image! Also the Artemis image feels "dingy" compared to the Apollo one. As if the clouds are dirty. Of course, that's probably just my own biases slipping in...

Remember, folks. Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico. He was born a US citizen. Spanish is easily the 2nd most spoken language in the country with nearly 20% speaking it as a 1st or 2nd language. Plus, PR has rebuilt itself multiple times from basically nothing. I'd argue they are the MOST American...

If you're ever in Omaha, be sure to stop by Flora Cafe downtown. They've only been open for about a year, but the food & staff are amazing. I can only imagine the lines when the street work is done & the weather warms up!

Two roughly drawn people are facing each other & pointing to a math formula below them. The person on the left is saying "16". The person on the right is saying "1".
In the text block, "Draw 8 ÷ 2 (2 + 2) cards." The (2 + 2) is italicized. After a break bar, "Why would a two mana common draw you 16 cards?" is italicized.

Hey @smart-union.bsky.social... Especially given events in Minneapolis, what is the International's stance on members joining local protest-strikes? Obv Locals have our CBAs, so it can't be a "collective event", but individuals still have 1A rights after all...

Just started the "Titan Mage" box set on Audible. Only about an hour in, but @edieskyeauthor.bsky.social does not disappoint. It's an isekai story with harem points and a plot focusing on Mecha fights. It's a fun story with a good cast.
