Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 12/01/2026While no direct historical source has been found for the exact phrase being used as a formal slogan in Nazi Germany, the sentiment reflects actual Nazi policies of reprisal killings and collective punishment in occupied nations during World War II 020
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 12/01/2026The phrase is widely understood to mean that the life of "one of ours" (members of an in-group, e.g., white people or law enforcement) is worth more than the lives of "all of yours" (members of an out-group). 120
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 12/01/2026The phrase "one of ours, all of yours" is a political slogan associated with Nazi and white supremacist ideology, which has been linked to a specific historical Nazi policy of collective punishment in occupied territories, including the 1942 massacre in the Czech village of Lidice. 120

Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 23/07/2025If marketing myself was my motivation, I’d be posting ads for my graphic designs and photos that I sell online, but that’s not what I did here. Call it, testing the waters…and the water is just too tepid. And too political. I get enough of that elsewhere. 4/4 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 23/07/2025Social media has changed a lot since I started working with it. Often, not for the better. Algorithms favor conflict and stupidity over truth and beauty. Bluesky isn’t mature yet. I’d rather post to my 500 followers (down from >3000) on FB than post here for the few people who appreciate it. 3/4 120
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 23/07/2025Then I found I enjoyed programming. Everything from FORTRAN in the 80s to Python and Java in the 00s. I got out just in time (before AI took my job) and did social media marketing for a few years before doing photography for the last 10 years, mostly for clients, but often for myself. 2/4 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 23/07/2025I’ve been doing photography on and off for the last fifty years. In my 20s, my motivation was being able to photograph scantily clad lingerie models for the local department store. But dealing with people wasn’t my thing. So over the years I did more inanimate objects. 1/4 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/07/2025Thank you for the kind words. They mean a lot. I’m out on the web www.travelwitheric.com and also on IG and FB. I don’t post often on other social media and it’s often just personal stuff, but I’m out there if you need anything. 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/07/2025Apparently, people really like photos of birds. I do much more than bird photos, but when I post them, likes are minimal with no reposts. People just don’t seem interested in 90% of what I shoot. That’s okay, I’ll eventually find an audience. 220
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/07/2025It's time-consuming and I'm no longer getting much out of it. I'd rather devote my time to something a bit more constructive. Thanks for your support. 130
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/07/2025This will be my last post. I gave Bluesky a try and it's just not as engaging as I hoped, even with thousands of followers. That's partly my fault. I don't repost other's photos—I have plenty of my own to show. But obviously, I've chosen the wrong place to show them. Ciao! Bagan. 🇲🇲 #photography 4463

Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 30/06/2025Thank you for recognition of this photo. For me, it’s a defining moment and an image I am very proud of, though I didn’t go to Nepal with this in mind. Few people understand the patience and dedication it takes to get an image like this, so I’m grateful when someone like you can appreciate that. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 29/06/2025Thank you. 🙏 I grieved for months because they are your family. 🐶 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 28/06/2025My wife came up with it. It's Hawaiian for a she-wolf. Because she was so fierce. 😜 She was a stubborn little pup that was just beginning to learn to obey. She found a way out of the fenced yard that day. 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 27/06/2025I was just a little over a year ago, so it’s still pretty fresh in my mind. 😢🐶🌈 I’m not religious, but I like to believe that heaven is a place where, when you get there, all the dogs you ever loved come running to greet you. 130
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 26/06/2025🌶️🔥💨 This shows off your assets 🍑 quite spectacularly. 🔥 120
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 25/06/2025Great shot and a nice reminder of all the wonderful Nat King Cole songs I heard my mother play while growing up. I still have those albums. 🎶💙🎙️🫶 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 24/06/2025Which is why it took three days to get just a handful of shots. I missed the mom leaving. I thank my sherpa for his knowledge of the location, even though I was beginning to lose faith in him, he was right. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 15/06/2025I think the army stopped teaching marching in formation at the end of the 18th century. I would rather think they’re being taught how to kill an enemy and combat tactics instead of how to perform in a parade. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 08/06/2025Mondrian’s color palette was primary colors: red, yellow, blue with black and white. Rubik’s cubes have 6 colors, not 9. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 06/06/2025His god is money and he idolizes himself. And he is killing plenty of people shutting down USAid. So there’s not a single commandment he’s followed. 110

Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 03/06/2025Great capture! I've tried several times to photograph one, but with less than stellar results. 040
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 02/06/2025Thanks! Between Ektachrome and Velvia, I'm not sure which one I liked the most. 120

Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 29/05/2025I have hundreds of photos of birds in flight. Luck is only part of the equation. The right equipment helps, but it’s mostly technique and lots of practice. 110
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 29/05/2025Sorry, not for sale. I’m already using it in a poster that I sell. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 28/05/2025I've owned Hasselblads, Mamiyas, Bronicas, old Fuji 6x9 cameras, Leicas and even a Horseman pano, old Graflex and Linhof view camera, mostly medium & large format film. NEVER owned a Sony, Panasonic 🤮, or Olympus, in film or digital, except for point & shoots. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 28/05/2025My first Nikon was an FTN, then a FE2 in the old film days. I went medium format for a couple of decades and then back to a Nikon F4S. My first digital was a D100, then a D70, D300, D5200, D800 and then on to mirrorless with a Z6, Z7, Z6II, and finally two bodies, a Z7II and Z8. 5 decades of Nikon. 100
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 28/05/2025I'm sure that you have redundancies now (I hope). I keep rolling backups, cloud backups on Apple and Amazon now after I lost a lot of older photos to a corrupt HD a couple of decades ago. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/05/2025Those are the color of the feathers on the leading edge of its wings. Look online at photos of GBHs and you'll see some have that patch of color on the wings, more easily seen when in flight. 000
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 22/05/2025The teardrop shape of their bodies is actually one of the most aerodynamic forms in nature, much like the airfoil of their wings. 010

Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 20/05/2025I’m wondering how well all this will grow under a large cedar tree? It’s not only shaded, but the soil tends to be acidic from the small pine cones, pollen, and dead boughs. 100
Photography by Eric Hwang @travelwitheric.com · 20/05/2025The grass in my lawn is basically dead, so I'm thinking of replanting a totally clover lawn. Any recommendations? 100
