I didn't know this until after I played it just now and looked up more information, but it seems the modder has made antisemitic comments in the past, and has used Ai to assist with this port. x.com/smokisevdali... So it's truly unfortunate that this is the only way we currently have to play this.

A post on X the everything app from Lorean Xavier the individual that ported P.T. to PC states

"I use Ai for debugging when I get stuck. This project is built on years of experience with P.T. and Fox Engine; I was making shadPS4/ModDB workarounds for the game long before this port. That knowledge makes reverse engineering easier. I'm not blindly vibe-coding a P.T. port."

So AI was used in making this port.

P.T. An iconic horror teaser that just got ported over to PC. I've been wanting to play this ever since it came out but couldn't because I didn't own the console and then it left or something. It's here now with ray tracing and 60fps if you want to try it like I did

Art for the horror game P.T. that was only playable on PS4 until a port to the PC was released recently.

The thing that makes me hate Ai the most is when the Ai bros decide to get on their high horse and immediately eat shit on a basic level. We are not the same person and I would very much like you to keep your Ai to yourself instead of forcing it into every aspect of my life.

Screenshot of Will Oremus stating in the same thread "parrots cannot solve complex problems, self-interrogate, self-correcr, search the web and extract relevant information"

All Ai art reminds me of Thomas Kinkade's overindulent yet bland work. All looks the same, bad lighting, fighting color/contrast, and expressionless. No meaning to it other than to make a buck. But I can at least give a little respect to Kinkade as he was an actual artist and did the work.

Example of Thomas Kinkade's work where we see a cottage nestled into a woodland landscape, that is overblown with details and colors, so much so that it hurts to look at for long periods of time.

Reminded me of the brief time I owned a Washburn Renegade (not my picture) It was cheap and that thing fucking ripped with the stock pickups alone... I should buy one.

Like, what the fuck are you even doing here? THAT'S YOU @polygon.com! THAT'S YOUR DOING! I backed this campaign and although I'll admit I wasn't blown away that Ishii was a stretch goal, I don't see what could possibly be wrong with her involvement in any capacity. She's volunteering her skills!

Another exert from the article states the following:

"It's unfortunate that this controversy is throwing shade over a funding campaign that could lead to the development of an interesting indie game." Then it just goes on to list the four finalists in the Amnesia Fortnight gamejam and nothing else about the "Controversy"

⇲ Trashbuff ⇱ @trashphotography.online · 21/09/2026

Like, couldn't even get the backlash right because there isn't any! If you're a Double Fine fan who backed this campaign and have since pulled your money out, what is the egregious issue here? I don't know how you got in here or why you even backed in the first place, but who knows.

added to the bottom of the linked article stating the following:

"Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that funding dropped on Double Fine's Kickstarer after the stretch goal related to Erika Ishii was announced. that error was the result of a technical issue on the author's part, and the article has now been updated to reflect accurate information."

⇲ Trashbuff ⇱ @trashphotography.online · 21/09/2026

@polygon.com you guys fucking suck. Uh oh looks like Double Fine fucked up by hiring a person who ended up being a person. Where's the controvertial comments? Why don't you screenshot some of those crybaby tweets to show that sentiment? This is fucking nothing

Exerpt from the ploygon article thats says the following.

Ishii. Whose acting credits include Atsu from Ghosts of Yotei, Valkytie from Apex Legends, and lady deathstroke from xmen '97. Has become a controversial figure among a segment of the fandom due to their open views about gender, sexuality, and politics. The Amnesia Fortnight campagn has, at the time of writtinf raised $558,000 against its initial goal of $400,000.

Various crates and wooden spools occupy the ground floor, and a rusted metal railing sections of a sunken machine area with various pipes extending up from the voids.

An advertisement for Tim Hortons is displayed on a grungy wall on the street corner. It shows off their donut holes but some one has drawn legs at the bottom. A person standing in front of the post is in a position so that the highest donut looks to be standing on top of their head. Another person is seen entering the frame from the left side getting closer to a different advertisement sign.

Sorry for the absence of photos, I've been dealing with the existential dread of being alive. Anyway, I think I've gone back far enough and touched up all the old photos I want for now. Going to update the website this weekend with them when I get a chance. ♥️

A lone fire watch tower stands at the top of a mountain way above thee tree lines looking out under a crystal clear sky. The photo has been edited to change the color of the brown autumn tree tops into a neon green, and the once blue sky has been altered to be a vibrant gradient of purple and pink.

A cloud trails off behind a mountain top watch tower imitating a stream of smoke coming from the tower itself. The photo has been altered to enhance the deep red and browns of the autumn tree tops, and the sky has become a de-saturated grayish-blue gradient.
