I have to say I disagree with how bulletproof their engines tend to be 🤷‍♀️ I think it's more of a case of them not being "cool", bikes.

100

I'm also finding out that it seems to be really tough finding certain things aftermarket for this bike. I don't think mustang even offers a seat for them last I looked.

100

It's better than the stock seat and looks nice 🤷‍♀️ it's not a touring bike, so I'm not really interested in like a mustang seat at the moment. The stock seat gets me 4 hours of riding until I start to get sore already. I'm working on that, or them shipping the correct brackets, but still no word 😩

000

Nope 🫤 it's not aligned on the operator's, or passenger's brackets 😫

000

😭 still waiting to hear back on what to do from C.C. Rider. Working on day 3 😩🤞🤞 I hear something today. It definitely seems a lot more comfy and looks so much better IMO. The listing specifically lists my year and model too 🤦‍♀️ #motosky #honda #shadow #phantom #cruiser #motorcycle #motorbike #seat

Oh, just curious that you replied with a revised version of my post text then 🤷‍♀️

Oh my gosh!! I hope you're ok, the pain isn't too bad, and you're getting good rest and care 💝 I hope you heal quick, so you can get back out there being the badass you are!

Um, hello there AI friend 🤔

That's dedication 🤣

100

I didn't know that 🤯 I did know it has like right the horsepower of my shadow phantom though 💀 which is surprising considering how much smaller it looks next to it. It's a really interesting bike. I think he mentioned that it was only made for like a couple of years too 🤔

000

He just recently got it and has been liking it a lot. It's a lot louder than my shadow and has so much more lean. It seems like a hybrid between a cruiser and standard bike in a lot of ways to me.

Honda crew 😜😂 got a ride in today with a friend who has a 1984 Honda Magna and an 80s I think Honda Express scooter. Honourable mention for the Acura Integra since it's really a Honda too. Yummy eats at Kingfish too! #motosky #honda #magna #scooter #motorcycle #motorbike #shadow #phantom #acura

Open garage at dusk with three motorcycles and a red Acura Integra under repair. A black Honda Magna leans left, a blue Honda express stands center, and a black-and-orange honda shadow phantom is parked right. The garage is packed with tools, supplies, and a lit workbench.

My friend recently got a GSX-R750 and it definitely seems like what I'm looking for. I'm leaning towards the VFR800FI, but I'll have to wait and see if they can meet me on the price. It's an older bike and has moderately high mileage and I think they're asking a little too much for it. 🤞🤞

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 26/04/2025

My rain gear didn't make it in time 😭 got to experience riding in the rain for the first time 🤦‍♀️ thankfully it wasn't too bad and I didn't have far to go.

020

I have my cruiser already, but I want a "go fast, twisty twisty", bike.

020

Ok MotoSky, I need your help. If you were deciding between a 2010 Honda ST1300 with half the miles, but about 30% more expensive and a 1998 Honda VFR800FI both in similar conditions (good, maybe better), which would you go for and why? #motosky #honda #decisions

This week starts my time with only a motorcycle and no other vehicle. Day 2 and so far so good 😅 ordered better, more reliable panniers and some good rain gear, so that solves grocery runs and nasty weather. Shouldn't need heated things any time soon. New seat coming soon too.

My friend caught a neat shot from her footage of our ride last night. Well, neat and funny 😂 caught me tucking on my cruiser trying to fit in with her sport bike. #motosky #honda #suzuki #viveloci #scorpionexo #insta360 #motorcycle #motorbike #groupride #action #photography

Two motorcyclists ride side by side at night on a well-lit, curved highway. The image is taken from a dynamic rear-facing camera mounted low on one of the bikes, emphasizing the rear tire and tail light. The rider in the foreground wears a full-face helmet, a backpack, and black riding gear. The second rider, slightly behind and to the right, wears a white helmet, a purple jacket, and jeans. The photo captures motion blur and dramatic lighting.

In this rare image we can see that trashcats can be professional sometimes too 🤭💅

A woman with platinum blonde hair styled in loose curls poses in front of a dark navy background. She wears round black-rimmed glasses and subtle winged eyeliner, giving her a confident, slightly playful expression with pursed lips. Her outfit includes a black top with a white patterned detail visible on the shoulder. The lighting is soft and flattering, highlighting her features.

"nO pArKiNg!" 🙃😝🤭

A cruiser-style motorcycle, equipped with saddlebags and a handlebar-mounted camera holder, is parked diagonally in a corner parking space near a wooden fence. The parking lines on the pavement are visible. To the right, on a small grassy area, a small black-and-gold sign reading “NO PARKING” is upside down and partially embedded in the ground. The setting appears to be in the early evening or dusk, with a clear blue sky in the background.

They're all prime examples of failing upwards 🙄 it's been getting worse and worse all over the US at least and I spent years telling myself "surely it can't be this way everywhere outside of this company", and now it's on full display in our government.

Right‽ 😂 Fitting all the junk in that trunk! That is a great picture by the way 😍

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 08/04/2025

Got this today and should finally be able to pick Áine up tomorrow 🥰 she's got a booty now 🤭 no more backpacks thank goodness! #motosky #honda #motorcycle #saddlebagsorpanniers

A bright orange Honda Shadow Phantom motorcycle parked in a garage workshop. The bike features matte black engine components, blacked-out exhaust, and custom leather saddlebags with silver buckles. It's resting on its kickstand on a worn concrete floor, surrounded by various tools, parts, and other bikes in the background.

I've been up waaayyyyyyy too late tonight to finish editing. The Fiesta ST got fresh oil and new filters earlier though. New tires soon on that. Hopefully getting word that my supports and panniers are on Áine (the phantom), later today.

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 05/04/2025

And I thought learning to edit the videos was going to be the biggest pain 😮‍💨 gonna make this happen somehow though. Fresh content coming soon in the meantime.

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 05/04/2025

It never ceases to amaze me at how difficult it seems to be to do things the right way. Got a custom domain and such, turns out that doesn't include the hosting service like it made it seem. Trying to use the Meta business suite and it's returning an ambiguous error when creating a page 🙄

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 04/04/2025

Damn, RTO propaganda on BlueSky 🤢

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 30/03/2025

Thank you! Can't wait to get my panniers on. 🤣 the struggle is very real there! I definitely would still like an adventure bike, but I adore this bike. It just glides on the road and through the curves. Definitely feels a lot sportier than I expected from a cruiser in all the right ways.

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 30/03/2025

Photo dump from today's adventures on the phantom 🥰 nicest day of the season so far. #motosky #Honda #motorcycle #kentucky #womenwhoridetheirown #ladybiker

The motorcycle parked near a small red brick utility building with overhead power lines, in front of a winding river and surrounded by tall trees just starting to bud.

The Honda cruiser positioned on a paved pull-off by the river, with tall bare trees and a quiet, forested area across the water.

Got my Ciao Bella gloves, armoured hoodie, and gaiter from @viveloci.bsky.social yesterday! Definitely the best gear I've bought so far and sooo comfy. I was able to ride comfortably at high speed with just the hoodie, a t-shirt and base layer in 55°! The gloves are heavy duty, but still cute too!

POV: When you meet a Gold Wing rider for the first time as a new rider. #motosky #honda #motorcycles #womenwhoridetheirown

A meme featuring a confused-looking teenage boy, played by actor Will Poulter in a scene from the movie We're the Millers. The text at the bottom reads: "YOUR BIKE HAS REVERSE?"—a humorous reaction often used by motorcyclists when surprised by touring bikes or trikes equipped with reverse gear.

060

That's awesome!! Jelly! Oh boo on them, they're just jealous 😜🤣 I don't blame you though. That sounds a lot zippier than what I'm used to! 😬

Seems like I fell into good company already here with y'all @valheru.bsky.social and @mostlycussing.bsky.social 🫶🏍️💨 it's a bummer we're all scattered 😭

030

Saammmee and you too girl! My new friend and I have made it our mission to recruit more ladies to ride. We're hoping to get an all women club going before I move away 🤞

I follow ya! Your videos actually inspired me to make mine. I'm the rando that's been commenting on your videos and liking them 🤣 Hoping I can boost your reach at least a little 😅

Oh good call! I need to get an emergency rain kit too and keep it in my bags when I get them on.

010

It really is! Got to show it to a new friend and did my first ride not solo today! It happened when I uploaded it here for some reason 🤔 I got more footage to experiment with today. I only got my Insta360 X4 Saturday, so I'm still figuring it out. Your new one is badass!

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 24/03/2025

It was a little chilly, but too gorgeous not to ride! Just layered up and got out there 😉 just had to cut it shorter than I would've liked. Definitely going to look into heated gear for next fall/winter.

TrashcatXO @trashcatxo.com · 24/03/2025

This looked a lot better before I uploaded it 🤔 I'll have to figure that out later....

Look I have zero excuses for this, but the idea popped into my head and now it's in your head, sorry

A six panel comic. In panel 1, a yellow warbler says "Hey, so I'm going to go out on a limb here". For the next four panels, it hops down along a branch. In the last panel, at the end of the branch, it sings a little song. I'm sorry.
