today's assignment was to demonstrate that we learned photoshop skills and i made this work of art #motivationalquotes

a motivational image iris made that says "keep your head up queen." "this moment is fleeting"
"you have the power to make the next one better"
"KEEP GOING!!!!"
the text is entirely using the comic sans font. the background is rainbow and excessively glittery. there is also a cut out picture of a lavish pink fairy fit from infinity nikki to the left of the text.

my first ever digital art piece vs latest :3 kinda funny how i went from just making whatever to learning as many fundamentals to just making whatever i want again #artbytrashcangoddess

a digital watercolor painting of trees iris made in 2015 with the paper by wetransfer app (called paper by 53 back in the day.) iris has handwritten “twees?” in a fine tip pen brush at the top of the painting, and below the painting is a text caption that says “Tree” nine times.

an anthropomorphized version of the sega dreamcast video game console, named dreamcasko. she is holding a silver microphone with an orange pop filter and posing sassily. the dreamcast serves as her head (a squareish white console with a top loader disc lid, an orange swirl on top of the disc lid, and grey buttons in the bottom left and right corners) with the buttons being her eyes. she has orange hair in twin spikey pigtails with yellow and red hair beads on her right pigtail, and green and blue beads on her left. she is wearing a white puffed sleeve blouse with an orange tie under the peter pan collar, a dark blue shortish skirt, and orange shoes. the background behind her is a blue swirl with the opacity lowered to pay homage to the european version of the sega dreamcast.

eye studies (2020) eye think eyes are my favorite subject to paint. #artbytrashcangoddess

a canvas of four eyes that iris drew. the top left eye is a painted green eye with bold red and yellow eyeshadow that is welling up with tears. top right eye is a simple cartoony eye that has a heart as the iris. bottom left is a slightly realistic eye drawn only with rough brush line work. the bottom right eye is a brown eye inside a light skinned person with red mascara.

from 2018. i made this during a time where i felt immensely lonely and like nothing i did mattered. i’m very thankful that although sometimes i still feel like that, it is much easier to pull myself out of that place, especially since i have so many lovely folks in my life now. #artbytrashcangoddess

a traditional colored pencil and white paint marker piece from iris’ sketchbook in 2018. it depicts a hand with light skin reaching up from underwater, with the rest of the body not visible in the piece. the water around the hand is meant to be roughly moving.

been battling the Big Sad so i refined and colored in a silly iris doodle from my sketchbook #trashcangoddessart #artbytrashcangoddess

a doodle iris made of themself in a very silly and asymmetrical style. iris is a fairy with light skin, no visible wings, long ears, and dark brown hair. they are wearing white wing hair clips, a white collared shirt with a light blue vest layered over it, a dark blue skirt, a space/galaxy themed jacket, a rainbow sock on their left foot, a yellow, white, purple, and a black sock on their right foot.

introduce yourself with four indie games! 🌈🎮 i also have multitudes of indie games i enjoy (and many more on the backlog), these r just the ones that come to mind rn :3

cover for the game risk of rain 2; featuring the character called commando playing an (electric) ukulele while sitting atop an escape pod on a mysterious planet.

cover for the frog detective games; featuring a low-poly-ish frog wearing a brown turtleneck.

cover for the game shadows over loathing; which features some stick figures (a cheese wizard, a fella playing a bugle, and a person holding a bat) trapped in some eldritch tentacles while the moon is shining ominously above them in the night sky filled with stars.

the cover for sticky business, which features some craft supplies and a shipping box filled with stickers.
