This was a new one for me. Woke up to this message today, laughed about it to friends, and less than 24 hours later the right wing dipshit findom simp (slash likely scammer?) blocks me. What an experience. I am thoroughly amused by "Goddess Trash" though 😂

Screenshot of a Bluesky message request that reads:

"I would love to submit to you $100 every week Goddess Trash. I can do this every Mo day if that works"

The screenshot also reveals this person has since blocked me

Spoopy Stinkos [#194] - SlimeyJade Chaos Emerald "scented" 💚 So happy to finally make a new @slimeyjade.bsky.social Stinko Pop after a long while. And she looks SO good as Rouge The Bat!! #stinkopop #halloween #rougethebat #ych #vgen

A picture of a Stinko Pop in-box and out-of-box. Stinko Pops are custom digital illustrations depicting characters as "scented" chibi vinyl figures. This is the Halloween-themed "Spoopy Stinko" for SlimeyJade (she/her), a Baja Blast colored slime girl, dressed as Rogue the Bat from Sonic. Jade has green slimey hair in a shoulder-length style, and her regular cat ears are instead large bat ears with piercings. Her eye makeup matches Rogue's light blue eyeshadow & pink lipstick, and she has a sly smirk. Her outfit is a black bodysuit with long white gloves & boots that have pink ring accents at the top. The center of the bodysuit is a pink heart with a white trim. Her pose has her clawed hand outstretched, and a purple bat wing and a slimey cat tail are visible. The in-box design is white with a pattern of pink hearts with bat wings on it and is Chaos Emerald "scented", with a drawing depicting the scent.

Design update & new ref sheet for @amarirumi.bsky.social just in time for their birthday 💚💜

New character reference sheet for Amari Rumi (they/them), a shapeshifting opossum necromancer standing at just 66.6cm tall. Amari has pale skin with various stitched on chunks of desaturated purple flesh, including one diagonally across their face. They have 5 eyes on their face all with black sclera & with varying iris colors and pupil shapes. There are two more eyes on each of their palms, four eyes on their demon wings, and a chest cavity barely sewn together absolutely chock full of spare eyeballs. Their opossum ears are slightly asymmetric and have pink tips & piercings, and they sport small demon horns. Their hair is bright green with a choppy mullet & long raccoon tails down to their belly, with a dark purple accenting the stripes and the ends of their hair. Their opossum tail is a black/purple to pink ombre and has a bandage. Their demon wings are almost as large as they are & are two different shades of purple, with stitches and the previously mentioned eyes.

Their outfit starts with a distressed crop top with bleach splatters & an o-ring and chain detail on the neckline. They wear a pair of Tripp-style pants with one leg zipped off, accessorized with suspenders, a studded belt, and a spiked collar-type decoration around one leg. And their knee-high boots have bright green accents & monster teeth around the front of the tall soles.

The ref sheet includes a nude reference of their patchwork as well as their tattoos placement, their personal dagger, and their mascot Tuft. Tuft is a gray patchwork teddy bear with a mischievous face, tufts of stuffing poking out of various stitches, and patches in different shades of purples and green and differing patterns. Their claws are dark purple with a bright green ombre on the tips. The dagger has a carved purple & black handle with a bright green teardrop gem & their initials "AR", the blade has a heart shaped cutout and an eye shaped cutout, and several more eyes are carved into the blade.

A ref of an alternate outfit, with the same boots as the first ref. Their black sweater is off the shoulders and has holes in it, with purple trim & scratchy text that reads "BABY" on the chest. They are wearing black shorts that are barely visible & a spiked choker with a large O-ring.

I thought my score would be even lower than this tbh, there are a lot of "big" anime I've never or barely seen, and even on this list there are many I only barely qualify for the one season minimum. But I do watch a lot of anime and enjoy recommendations :)

My answers to the "What is your variety anime score?" game, where I mark how many shows/movies I've seen out of 100 (at least one season/movie). I scored 28/100:

btw I recommend the movie! Easily in my top 5 vampire films now. It balances the emotions of the subject of death & still has fun with moments that lighten the mood, vampire lore/powers, and the dynamics of a vampire family who doesn't know how to help their daughter that refuses to kill.

Trash Bat Char🗑🦇 @trashbatchar.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I promise I am doing my best to balance taking time to rest while making any bits of progress where I can. Most have already expressed to me that my health comes first, but I still felt I owed an update. I ended up writing out some of my stress regarding the topic below, if you wish to read.

The slower pace I've been struggling through on my commission queue has been affecting my ability to take on new projects. Multiple times now new clients have sent requests only to immediately rescind them when I give the ETA. I'm also seeing my Twitch revenue decrease because I'm not live as often. I just recently opened a monthly Ko-fi membership as another way to support, but I feel I need to develop more perks for the higher tiers to make it worthwhile. My ACG Goods merch store had an amazing first month when I opened it back in May, but orders have all but halted because of the nature of me selling hyperspecific merch of people's v-tube sonas & OC's. I'd like to explore making more merch options that appeal to a wider audience, but I just don't have the time and energy to do much outside of work on commissions right now.

The fear is setting in that I've hit my ceiling as a freelance artist, yet I'm still not close enough to being financially stable enough to take care of me & Jade if we ever get to move out from her mom's apartment. I wish so much that I had the energy and time to devote myself even more to art, but between my pain & fatigue, the tasks I must stay on top of as a partial caretaker to my disabled wife, and taking time to enjoy other hobbies for my sanity...I just don't know if I can go much further than where I currently am. I haven't had an empty commission queue in over two years, and I feel like I'm always fighting to catch up to a goalpost that keeps moving further and further ahead of me. I'm just scared that this is it for me, and that someday sooner than later I'm going to have to quit art & streaming just to run to any job that will take me so that we can survive.

I'm just rambling at this point really...but thank you for reading & thanks to anybody who has supported my art and streams in any way. I really do love getting to do this and I'm proud of how far I've come, but I wanted to be honest about my struggles and doubts as well.

this version has only a little bit of overlay added but retains most of the OG color palette. I think it's still nice looking even though the other version is way more striking!

digital illustration of Miyo, a girl with fox ears and a big floofy fox tail, in a dynamic pose. Miyo has black hair with sparkly purple streaks in it, and her fox ears have multiple piercings. Her eyes are golden and she has a smug smirk on her black painted lips. Her outfit is an off the shoulder sweater with fishnet underneath & a black skirt with ripped hole-y tights. Her shoes are black flats with a metal pentagram affixed to the front & spiked ankle straps. She is posed kneeling on the ground with one leg closest to the foreground, and she is reaching out with her left hand as she looks down with her smirk. The lineart is thick & angular, and there is a cyan underhighlight accenting various parts of the piece.
