I'm going through some screenshots from October 2025 and I could not tell you who these sims are or what save they are from lol. This is the biggest downside to all my sims having the same face lol.

Do people still use main screen overrides/clean ui mods and can anyone recommend one? (if EA haven't broken them all) I launched my game for the first time in a while and I'm so stressed about literally everything on the main screen.

Did yesterday's patch break a lot of stuff? I had just updated everything the day before 🥲

I've been buried in work for a month an a half and basically missed everything from Paralives to Sims. Now, gotta get back into it!

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 05/05/2026

EA is about to break my game just as I enter my casual fun era right?

Go to save at the moment: pre-Pleasantview 💙(because it always comes down to Pleasantview.)

Nestor Caliente ...and Pollination Tech 7.

Hi everyone. Just popping in to apologize for completely disappearing. All is good here. I've just been so busy and completely lost touch with the game for a bit. For the past couple of months I've slowly been playing more and enjoying the game again, offline though. I hope you are all doing well💚

I’d go as far to say you don’t need to monetize any hobbies and in fact doing so is the fastest way to ensure you spend all your “free time” working. we’re living in a capitalist‘s utopia where we can’t seem to stop producing

What a throwback 🥹🫶 Appreciate you, Alex.

When you finally have the time and energy to play and EA decides on a patch apocalypse...

2292

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 04/03/2026

Well... I guess I applaud the commitment to killing the franchise completely 👏👏

2313

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 14/02/2026

Well, gonna have to make some proper Capps and Montys. Where's my girl Hermia? Where is my queen and former namesake Goneril?? Where is literally every other Monty? (and why do all the Capp names sound like STIs?) Stay tuned I guess

1191

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 14/02/2026

Well, bought the new pack and I'm so incredibly overwhelmed lol.

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 02/12/2025

And here I was manifesting a comeback for me and the Swans... but this is some weird sponged up shit.

👏👏👏 I know not everyone is in the EA Network is in a privileged position to leave it and won't judge anyone for staying. But I also think early access videos are tired at this point and not what the community needs, so perhaps consider what's the real benefit in staying in the network at this point?

Another thing that really needs rework in TS4 is to streamline systems that are currently overlapping weirdly. I wish: - Lifestyles should be base game and updated - Traits need an overhaul: move "hobby" traits to preferences and lifestyles traits to lifestyles - Add more actual personality traits

Accidentally bought a Switch 2 and already have 8 hours in Mario Kart. Oops.

I've always played in English. There wasn't a Danish translation for TS1 when it first came out. It was great, it's how I learned the word miscellaneous 😄 When TS2 came out I just went with English as well. I did once install it in Danish, but the names for the families killed that vibe good for me.

The thing that stresses me out the most about another pack: getting another useless world that will clutter my screen and that my sims will get random invitations to visit. I wish EA or a modder released a tool to just disable worlds altogether or choose the worlds you want in every save.

I'm here to let you all know that Nickel has peaked off-screen by completeting the Trashley Certified Art collection 🔥 I expect nothing else from the son of the bin queen herself.

I'm renovating Binleigh's kitchen (again) and the new sleek bathroom shelves look great on top on the wine rack! Also my Easter break finally begun which is why I'm back to just shit posting lol.

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 12/04/2025

UPDATE! I still had the save from when I expired Tippy and Kurt (which was in a seperate save) so I was able to go back grab a lot of the old pics and they seem to work. So it's really just all of Penny's childhood that's gone.

3460

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 12/04/2025

All my legacy photos are broken and the fix for it it's just too much work... So I guess I'm pretending a fire ruined them all. Even this little piece of paper is broken. It used to be Roque's autograph 🥲Ooooh the things we lost in the bug-fire.

3331

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 20/03/2025

Can't believe we stored and finely aged all of these bottles for Binleigh to live that sweet post-heir life... and then this.🥲

1320

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 20/03/2025

Nothing about correctly priced nectar bottles? Sorry Binnie, still no small vineyard store or retirement in sight for you girl.

3292

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 16/03/2025

It's genuinely so sad. All the photos ae gone except the ones from Binleigh's graduation for some reason. And the one that I just took of Cash and Bins. I can take new pictures, but all olds ones are gone 🥲

How did I sit in my garden, eating ice cream in the sun this weekend, and yet wake up to snow this morning. Spring is not springing. This weather is more inconsistent than me 🥲

I actually like the Businesses & Hobby* gameplay a lot more than I thought I would. You'll never convince me this should not have been part GTW though.

Not this again.... These pictures worked fine yesterday and I haven't updated or added anything to game since 🥲

Sprout is about die for good in my legacy 💚 and I have decided to approach it a bit differently this time. He has on the brink of expiration since November, and I think it's been a bit of a root cause (no pun intended) of my unwillingness to play because it feels like a heavy chore 🧵1/2

Dropping out of school means Nickel has given up his rights to decide anything while still living at home. So today we're volunteering ❤️ ... and it went as well as expected because "Nickel is not into this helping people business" 😅

In more positive news, he still has a massive crush on Dominique, despite her new hair. She is also not impressed by him dropping out. It's very unswan-like

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 04/03/2025

The only thing that brings a teeny tiny smile to his very committed sad boy face, is drawing on Binnie's tablet. I guess he and Bins do have something in common after all!🥹

5472

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 04/03/2025

For now, Nickel settles on an odd job playing video games. He knows how to do that at least...oh wait.

3491

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 04/03/2025

In order to combat his fear of flopping, Nickel has a want to set expectations with his parents. Cash: Here's our expectations. If you're not going to school, you will at least get a job. Nickel: But the criminal career is not available for teens 😭😭 Cash: Tough luck!

4590

Ella // trash-llama @trash-llama.com · 04/03/2025

Poor Nickel developed a fear of disappointing his parents after being expelled from high school. No need to fear reality, Nickel!

A better look at Penny. Her skintone and eyes are all Cash, but the nose and mouth is very Binnie 💚I love how she always looks like she is scheming. Watch out, Nickel

Not entirely sure she is not secretly the evil one, pulling the strings from afar! She rolled generous though, so probably not. Eitherway, SHE HAS ARRIVED!
