At the Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS) International Conference, our co-director moderated a clinic, "EUDR: from aspiration to delivery." The session looked at EUDR implementation, bringing together perspectives from companies, competent authorities, and national systems.

Peat subsidence in Indonesia’s productive pulpwood plantations released 76 million tonnes of CO₂-eq in 2024, roughly equal to Ireland’s total emissions in 2022. Peat subsidence alone makes up about 95% of the sector’s land-use emissions. 👉 Read the explainer trase.earth/insights/ind...

Most of the #deforestation tends to be concentrated in a small number of municipalities. Only 61 municipalities in #Brazil accounted for 50% of deforestation for cattle pasture in 2023. Focusing action on these hotspots could significantly reduce deforestation and conversion.
