Makes them feel speshul. It's like a dick waving contest to see who has access closest to the finishing straight.

Bleach won't work, it has to be sulphuric acid straight up the jacksie for a 100% kill.

It sure is, my problem is a yard full of animals that need feeding and living an hour from the city. I think I'm getting too old as well, a good night for me these days is to be in bed with the cats by 9:30!

That sounds about right. In the mid 80's she used to front up in the Manzil Room and get absolutely wasted then jump up on stage with whoever was on that night.

This afternoon's choons From one of the best live shows you'd ever see, the Renée Geyer 2007 album Tenderland. Beautiful renditions of some soul classics in Renée's inimitable style. If you've never heard her, do yourself a favour. I was lucky to see her live often, but sadly she died early 2023.

Watch out for videos claiming Gen. Randy George spoke out against Trump
According to two fabricated TV news reports, the Army chief of staff called Trump "an immediate and dangerous threat to America's national security."

How many more '100 year events' is it gong to take before americans extricate their heads from their collective asses to do something about climate change? It's exhausting.

Remember the pool attendant telling you your time was up by walking along the changing cubicles at the edge of the pool banging the doors open. Some were more generous than others.

It's disturbing how many americans are clapping like seals at the prospect of sanctioning even more state murders.

This is quite sobering and I don't recall a time in my life when this number has been so high. Currently there are wars occuring to some degree in 60 countries around the world according to the Armed Conflict Project and The HALO Project. Sunday morning radio can be both fascinating and depressing.

70Up is on telly this Wednesday but every previous one is being shown before then starting tonight. Be interesting to watch them all again, i'm not that younger than they are and grew up in the UK so they'll be some familiar scenes. I really like Neil, i hope he does OK.

I'll never understand the kids. One day they're all crowded into Ms Meaghan's igloo bed by the window, another sprawled on my bed. Today they've decided on the hidey house that's part of their cat tree. I wonder if they take a vote or Harry, the oldest, says 'right you lot, today it's on the bed!'

So american, murder people in the most hideous way possible.

Why are americans determined to find the most heinous way to murder people and publically celebrate it. Hideous.

The things you learn. Had no idea Uganda has four hereditary kingdoms. One thing this article fails to mention is the sacrifice of a bull and splashing the participants with fresh chicken blood at some stage in the coronation. www.bbc.com/news/article...

The downside of watching Asian news programmes in the morning is that some stories are gut churning. Well put off my toast by a (graphic) story about Vietnamese dog and cat food restaurants. It would appear there's a whole street of such specialty restaurants. Eek!

They're as tough as old boots, it'll survive as long as it stays moist and it doesn't drown and get collar rot in rancid waterlogged soil. The warming days will help too.

Hmmm... Maybe chop it's fronds off to stop it from losing too much moisture post transplant. The new growth will tell you it's rooted again successfully. Takes a couple of months.
