The text reads: I thought a lot on how to proceed and I decided it would be most fair if I left the choice to each contributor individually.

Initially I thought that <20€/pp would be too little to distribute. However I know how dire things are right now and even if it isn't a lot, if the money could help out, I'd be more than happy to. I know that regardless of whether it will be donated or paid out towards the artists it'll go back to the community.

Big big thank you to everyone who filled out the interest check. 💖 You may have noticed me having to meddle with the back end a bit during the last two months, because I've expected maybe 100 submissions over 30 days, not more than 250 over 48 hours haha

Interest
Overview

Almost 400 unique form submissions.
A graphic of a bar chart showing two metics: 118 people interested in supporting the anthology and 367 people interested in participating in the anthology.

Pricing
Responses

A box plot ranging from 5 to 35 USD with the median value at 15 USD and an interquartile range of 10 to 20 USD. Three outliers at 40, 50 and 60 USD.

Text below it reads:

Opinions
Regarding Physical Prints

A graph showing two bar charts. Left a bar chart titled "Interessted in a physical copy" with a rough split of ~60% yes, ~30% maybe and ~10% no. Right a bar chart titled "Physical > Digital?" with a rough split of ~50% yes, 25% maybe and 25% no.

Since TRANS* 2025/26 was planned as a digital anthology only, it will continue as one (though physical copies are a possibility for future editions :D).

📣 Schedule Update I have extended the application time by moving the start date forward (end date remains unchanged), so you can get your application in early if you choose to. :) More data from the interest check below.

Timeline
Application Period Extended

previously: 01.05.2025 - 01.06.2025
now: 21.03.2025 - 01.06.2025

The application period has had its start date moved! The end date remains **unchanged**.

Take your Time
This means you will have two months instead of one month to fill out your application. I will not be looking at applications until after the 01.06., so please take as much time to fill them out as you need!

Why?

I got everything done ahead of schedule, so I figured you guys might appreciate the extra time. :)

I have amended the schedule on the website to reflect the change above.

Q: What type of submissions are accepted?
Any visual art, be it illustrations, comics, 3d, traditional art, mixed media or something else.

Q: Do the characters have to be human?
No, any anthropomorphic characters will be considered.

Q: Will there be pins / prints / merch?
Not at this time, sorry.

I don’t have the capacity for organizing and coordinating more contributors/formats that what I have already planned for at the moment.

For fun I plotted some of the answers that I've already received. I did end up cleaning up the (numeric) data by removing extreme outliers (>100), but it's already been super interesting to see your answers. Thank you again for your overwhelming support that you've already shown I am on my knees. 🌹

Bar chart of the relative frequency of answers who checked 'supporting' (~35%) and answers who checked 'participating' (~95%)

Box plot of the answers given to page count with an interquartile range of 2-3, minimum of 1, maximum of 4 and outliers starting at 5

Box plot of the answers given to support price with an interquartile range of 10-20, a median at 15, minimum of 1, maximum of 25 and outliers starting at 40
