if you are in/able to make it to the coachella valley on June 6th, i have also been helping her bandmate and musician friends organize a benefit show in sky's honor. i did the poster. she was an incredibly talented skramz vocalist in the only trans-fronted band in the CV. she was the coolest.

my girlfriend sky is the most beautiful person i've ever known, inside and out. she was loved by everyone who met her. her joy was warming and infectious and she brought everyone in; into community, into togetherness. i feel so much anger for the ways the world failed its most wonderful creation.

it's been about 2 and a half months since my girlfriend passed. if i am being honest, i am not doing well. but am i am trying to draw again and start to live my life. her memorial is in two weeks; i am running it. her family did not approve of who she was and did not give her any formal service.
