Over the weekend I finished “Empire of the Damned” by Jay Kristoff book 2 of their series. I will say I still really like Dior and now Phoebe the dusk walker are my favorites overall between the jumping POVs etc it was a fun read some parts were long in the tooth but overall fun. 4/5 #BookSky

Just finished over the weekend Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff, it was a fun read the palebloods, Gabe, etc were captivating Dior had to be my favorite of the bunch I recommend the read as I am starting book 2 now let’s see where it goes solid 4.3/5 for me. #BookSky

Just finished “I Power Up with every Monster Girl I Defeat” by Edie Skye & HP Holo it was a fun jaunt essentially Monster Hunter meets Harem anime. Overall it was very entertaining and worth the read and the characters are fun, Axl is very much an anime protag and not a bad thing jaja. #BookSkye

I just finished The Demon Overlord’s Retirement Plan by MH Foster. It is such a fun read Prometheus was such a fun side character and Willem is such a silly guy trying to navigate retirement just an absolute delight. 4.75/5 highly recommend to read. #BookSky

Recently finished Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss it was such a fun read favorite character has to be Master Kilvin. Kvoth is a fun character a little entitled but it’s to be expected with him. Overall solid 4.5/5 #BookSky

Yesterday finished P.K.D’s Ubik it was on my list cause I’ve wanted to read the books that inspired the names of the GodHand from Berserk. It was a fun read I did enjoy it even though I got a little confused on what Ubik really was but going back it made better sense. #BookSky

I also forgot I also read Bridget & Gabe are not Okay by Lex Croucher, still love how well Lex handled such a large cast and no one feels like they got lost in the shuffle. Some of the events I could relate very well to but I will say highly recommend it and it’s prequel. #BookSky

Last week finished The Return by Rachel Harrison it was a good read, the slow burn and paranoia of events were really worth the read. The ending was interesting to say the least so I can say it didn’t hit the landing for me too well but I think it was well done. #BookSky

Just finished Road of Bones by Christopher Golden, it was a fun read and the isolation of where it takes place helps with the ambience. Overall solid read 3.75/5 for me I did lose track a bit but rereading it whatever I missed did help. Don’t have much to say on it though. #BookSky

Recently finished the Audio drama version of Locke & Key by Joe Hill n Gabriel Rodriguez the cast is stellar and I did love Brennan Lee Mulligan does amazing as always. Not the most gripping story for me but I still enjoyed it #BookSky

I recently finished Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus it was such a nice read, although at one point it felt somewhat rushed but going back to relisten it is still a great read I solidly recommend it as the characters are very interesting and well written. #BookSky

So I recently finished Legendborn it is a great book I cannot wait to see where it goes and it’s takes on Arthurian Legends. The narrator does a great job with their narration the only gripe I have and it’s small is not distinguishing inner/outer monologues other than that amazing #BookSky
