Do a Folex test on a part of the muzzle that didn't get blood on it and see if it stains as well. If it does DO NOT SOAK THE HEAD. The whole liner has to come out- the bleeding never stops 😭 It's on the maker to use appropriate materials.

I would try soaking the muzzle in a bit of bleach or oxyclean (NOT BOTH TOGTHER) for 30 min and see what happens. Small/diluted bleach exposure doesn't affect fur color from my experience.

I am recovering from running the Fursuit Maid Cafe for Howl 😆 but when I get the energy back I'll definitely propose to a few artists with a vision as I'll probably go big with experiencial stuff (digital screens or projectors and spot lighting to make it moody).

I ran the last or 2nd last art show at VF and a lot of the attitude I got from attendees was "What's the point? There's a dealer's den." I got pretty dismayed 🫠 What AnthroNW does with fursuit photography and alternative art forms is so peak though- I would like to see something like that in BC.

I'm gonna start the tag #tf_suits for proper profiles of each of my original suits so you can see my body of work easily! First up is Hale Purry- my first commission/2nd suit finished in 2020. Using DVC mouth + nose parts (for UV reactive colors) on an EVA base. Includes magnetic eyelids and horn.

PSA if you use talcum baby powder in any of your making process (eg, to nullify the sticky side of tape patterns): STOP NOW. Asbestos often grows with Talc and it's very hard to purify. Manufacturers only just switched over to cornstarch in 2023.
