Running Transfix has been a dream but the quality of both the publication and my own leadership has suffered from this intense burnout I’ve been experiencing. I need to give myself time to recover and reconnect.

My nervous system is shot! It has been a harsh reminder that I simply cannot do it all.

Lately I have been struggling to juggle everything life demands from me and also have a bad habit of putting too much on my plate. Running on fumes for such a long time has affected both my mental and physical health.

All that being said, this past year and a half has been a LOT. On a personal scale, l have essentially been in fight or flight mode for a year and a half and l am just now able to say that we (myself, my partner, and my best friend) are getting settled into a safe, stable home after fleeing Florida.
