A full body drawing of my vampire squid oc Vela, she seems to be seated and tugging at the chain on her collar. She's wearing thighhigh stirrups, and two straps on her flat chest, one of her tentacles is tugging at one of her straps. She has a small drop of blood on her fang.

finished nier replicant the other day i luv kainé #NieR

Kainé from NieR Replicant, holding a white cube. Half her face is covered with old Windows-sytle Notepad windows saying "KAINÉ ARENT YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING IMPORTANT...?" . Behind her are more windows in the same style sporting error messages and a command panel. Tears can be seen from behind the notepad windows.

@amisidot.bsky.social's milkable moo-bot, dictionnaire. #art #myart #nsfwart #digitalart

Digital drawing of a robotic humanoid with cow-like horns and wide, oval-shaped ears. She is squeezing her arms together, pushing out her large breasts, which are barely covered by a loose crop top with text printed on it, reading: "I'm going to be milked next!". Her nipples are poking up and tenting the fabric.

It is a reference to a sign that was hung up in a cow barn, the photograph of which is inlaid in the corner.

Genuinely, this completely rules

－Recently, the game has been going viral on X for its beautiful undressing animations. I’ve even read in one of your previous interviews that the development team practiced stripping themselves as reference for the undressing animations. What was the process behind making the animations actually like?

Matsui:

I’d love to know how far that story has spread. It’s true.

First, we write a plot for each undressing scene, then draw storyboards, exactly as the original team did. Then the real work begins, because the animation is essentially all keyed by hand. A designer moves the clothing’s 3D model, frame by frame, manually. It really is pretty much like the claymation method I mentioned.

We did try automating it with physics simulation first, but it was a total failure. The cloth moved in a physically correct way, but had absolutely no allure. We learned a profound lesson: accuracy and sensuality are two unrelated properties. In the end, we accepted that humans would have to do all of it.

Then VR adds its own weight. In a normal game, if something becomes awkward, you can cut away or swap models between scenes. In VR, the player can look from any angle at any time, so none of those tricks are available. The same model has to undress convincingly no matter where you’re standing. When I described this to a designer at another studio, he said, “I would never do that.” I’ve chosen to take it as a compliment.

And then, yes, the part you’ve read about. The undressing motions themselves use motion capture, but the deeper problem was that nobody actually knew the correct rhythm and order in which a person takes off clothes. So, the directors gathered and undressed themselves as reference. “That zipper is coming down too fast.” “She’d pause once before slipping her shoulder out.” These were serious, sober discussions. For compliance reasons, the Super Real Mahjong Venus Returns team works in a walled-off section of our office – and that was the moment those walls truly earned their keep.

Okay a tiny thread because people are going to freak out: This exploit in particular takes advantage of a special command that renders images (via attribute escape). If you have an overlay that processes images (most don't) then yes, this is your problem. Overlay must explicitly create img DOM.

A picture of the exploit, using a command that explicitly includes an image file extension, but also would escape out of the src attribute of an image such than an onerror attribute can be added to the img tag. This onerror attribute can run explicit javascript immediately.

Default behavior for most chat widgets is if you have an image it will not attempt to modify image links into actual HTML image tags. Your overlay/overlay service must explicitly be doing this for you.

*taps the sign*

a Tumblr post by the-hwaelweg

*deep sigh* Most people who aren't in trans-inclusive spaces have no idea that JKR is basically single-handedly funding transphobia in the UK. If your actual goal is to get people to stop spending money on Harry Potter and thus funding her empire of hate, you are much better off making *that* fact known than by trying to "make liking Harry Potter cringe", a vague goal that will only make fans dig their heels in because you sound no different than the hundreds of other people telling them it's cringe because it's not LitFic or because it's a sin against their god or what have you.
