Everyone please support Forgotten Island on the big screen, it was such a blast and I want more animated movies like this!

While I think it would have benefited from being a two-cour series, Goodbye Lara was such an amazing and heartwarming original manga about loving yourself and the community around you. Add in some queer themes and you know it’s one of my favorite of the year.

So many iconic anime characters and one of the best voice directors out there, rest in piece 🕯️

I’m conflicted. If it had the harshness and explicitness of the original manga, it would be right up there with Grave of the Fireflies and In This Corner of the World. On its own though, it’s a story that deserves to be told, even if it’s hard to watch

Let’s see if the short film has the same harshness of the original manga with this art style…

Jane Schoenbrun knocks it out of the park again with Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma! Highly recommend if you’re queer, love slashers, and want to witness the beauty that is Gillian Anderson

For my recent Seasonal Gay Anime Spotlight video, I didn’t talk about Hana-Kimi coming back because I didnt want to watch the second season and would only have negative things to say about it. That’s not fun for me or anyone that watches my videos…

I don’t like watching or reading reviews from people who would rather be doing anything else than watching or reading the thing that they are reviewing.

TransLesRubyVA 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ @transanimelover.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I do need anime review sites to stop giving their reviewers anime that they shit on week after week without meeting the anime on its level, because it gets so tiring to read when the whole thing is negative without too much nuance to it.

New Seasonal Gay Anime Spotlight video for Summer 2026 is gonna be delayed. I’ve been swamped with work recently and I’ve got a jury summons tomorrow. I’m hoping to get it out by Thursday or Friday. Thank you for your patience

Before this recent anime, Stand Alone Complex was the only time The Major was shown to be bisexual like in the original manga, and we love it for that!

I see that moment with the song has mourning the loss of who Jax could have been. That no matter how awful she was at the circus, she could have been lovely, made from love…

I do genuinely need people who have never watched Euphoria and didn’t have the first season and two specials impact them in a deep and meaningful way to shut up and let the people who actually suffered through all of this to critique the show

This was the most awful and disappointing viewing experience of my life. Pouring one out for Euphoria Season 1
