New Mexico actually has Louisiana beat by 3% (29.90% vs 26.79%), but nonetheless, it's one of only 8 states above 25%, and one of only 3 outside New England (CA is also at 26.20%). It makes sense all SW states are over 20%, given how heavily Catholic Hispanic pops are.
