Ogerpon was a very in-depth backport. Because it'd be very difficult to do back-sprites with the different masks, I decided to change Ogerpon's colours in order to make it more obvious which mask is being worn. Types for Ivy Cudgel and Ogerpon change as expected when holding the right mask.

We are getting close and closer to a completed Gen 3 backport Pokédex. The Fossils were pretty fun to do - their sprites were tough as they're large and detailed, but I think I did a pretty good job!

This line was a surprising amount of fun to backport. Spoink and Grumpig have a couple of difficult moves to backport, and getting it right within a couple of tries has given me a huge boost of confidence when it comes to Gen 2 coding.

Tiny little channel update: I'm bringing back the old overlay (with a couple of modifications). I tried out the new one for ~6 months to see if it made any positive impact, and it didn't. Everything's slowly going to go back to Museo, with the softer colour palette.

I've got another line to add to the backport collection - the Vespiquen line! This one is likely gonna be very tricky when it gets its run. Combee isn't built for battling, and loses its speed upon evolving into Vespiquen! Fun fact: You can't get a legit Gen 2 shiny Vespiquen!

Another Gen III backport can be crossed off the list! This time, in the form of the Aggron line. It's been hotly requested, so I'm very glad to get it done. It's a physical powerhouse, which will be great, right up until Red.

I've just re-backported Dudnsparce after 18 months. I love seeing the difference in learnsets when I bring a backport up to date - it's a real indicator of how much more skilled I've become with the Gen 2 code. The original learnset was good for its day, but I think I prefer the new one :D

I may be jumping on the bandwagon here, but I always enjoy backporting Pokémon into Pokémon Crystal. Here's Malamar. 99% complete with learnset - the only duff move is Pluck because I ran out of space. I'm always open to requests and suggestions too, especially if they're fun to play.

Next week, we take on one of our biggest challenges yet in Pokémon Crystal. A Hardcore Nuzlocke, but if a single Pokémon faints, the challenge is lost. This took several months to record a successful run, and I am SO excited to share it with you all!

I'm not posting this publicly anywhere else yet. The next hardcore Nuzlocke is coming out on 27th December, and this time it's going to be the Fire type. It's definitely harder than the Water Nuzlocke, and I think it's got a lot of fun twists and turns!

I'm starting to gather a collection of backports of Generation 2 Pokémon which struggled in Johto, but who may do slightly better in Gen 1 Kanto. So far, I've got Sunflora, Azumarill, and Magcargo! Any other suggestions (for Gen 2 Pokémon) are more than welcome!
