Seriously anyone wanting a commission please give Moe a chance! She's a phenomenal artist that I've been working with for years and has always exceeded my expectations.

Eye of the beast Starting the spooky month off with some tentacle terror! Seriously though this one was actually pretty good. While the highlight is the final battle I wish we saw more of the monster throughout the film but still had a ton of fun making some mst3k style commentary with my gf.

Kaiju Girl Caramelise Absolutely loved this one it's a ton of fun. The charaters are great and the romance Itself is surprisingly natural, theres only a few bits here and there I could nitpick but overall its absolutely adorable and the kaiju scenes were awesome!

Goodbye lara The animation in this one is fantastic, and the story is solid. My only gripe was the final episode felt a bit anticlimactic and left me wanting more out of it. If your a fan of the little mermaid give it a chance. For me tho its a 6/10

Frierin season 2 Not gonna lie. I'm disappointed how short this one was, but for what we got I enjoyed it. This anime is still a vibe to just sit down and enjoy the journey. I just wish I didn't have to wait 13 months for more 💀

Silver wolf Found this one while doom scrolling through prime video and found myself really enjoying it. The bind between silver and Jessie felt natural and the story it told was great I'll definitely give this another watch in the future.

Red Dirt Rising The story was good, but the racing itself was lacking. This one was just ok.

The Beast Of Hollow Mountain Always fun seeing some old school stop motion monsters but DEAR GOD THIS MOVIE TOOK FOREVER TO SHOW IT!!! Seriously if I didn't watch this with the mystery science theater 3000 commentary I wouldn't have made it to the end if you're curious just skip to the 3rd act.

Forza Horizon 6 I've been having a blast with this game since it's release a few months back. Racing through Japan is so much fun the garage customization is also a cool addition. I really enjoyed experimenting with it, but the highlight for me is the addition of the irl tracks they're awesome!

This might just be my favorite forza game ever. Racing Herbie the love bug through Japan is a blast and wouldn't have it any other way!

Neva Dear God I was not expecting to get hit in the feels this hard today but damn I'm still crying. This game is beautiful both in art and story. I will not dare spoil anything if you're looking for a quick but heavy hitting story. Please check this one out.

The Devil's Mouth Solid film with a unique setting. Definitely the first time I've seen a shark movie that takes place in a cave. While one of the characters was insufferable, the way the shark was taken out was awesome, and I'll gladly add this one to the shark week rotation.

Balcon @trainerbalcon.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Sharks in Venice Wow this sucked. Terrible cinematography and editing most of the sharks were basically poorly clipped together stock footage and it commits the cardinal sin of all films its BORING! There's a cut every 10 seconds and every other shot is slowmo just skip this one its not worth it.

The plot about a forgotten underwater treasure and the Italian mafia trying to find it while sharks attack sounds like it would be awesome but dear God this flim makes it a snooze fest.

Dawn of the dragons This one was alright it was cool getting some backstory for how the dragons came to be in this world and Lucas was a solid protagonist I just didn't enjoy it as much as the first book but I'm still interested in the 3rd book coming out.

Mississippi River Sharks Ok this was dumb stupid fun absolutely horrible cgi and acting in some scenes but damn if it wasn't a blast riffing on it with my girlfriend its another so bad its good film tho I'd only recommend if you a sucker for bad movies like I am.

The Black Demon SHARK WEEK BABY!!! This week I'm scouting any shark films that have escaped my radar and this one was at the top of the list. It's solid. I enjoyed the story it had to tell but the sound balance made it hard to understand dialog at times. Continued in alt-

The story was good, but not a lot of shark action. It's used very spareingly, but that's alright since the plot kept me engaged. While it's not anywhere close to my favorites list, I'd definitely give this one another viewing.

New Dragon City Solid read if you like post apocalyptic stories you might like this one its not bad at all. Currently listening to dawn of the dragons so curious to see how the dragon apocalypse happened but I definitely enjoyed it and I'll be back for the sequel later this year.

Dragonheart A new beginning Ok this one was said to be the worst but damn I actually loved it! its right under vengeance. Drake and Geoff were a fun duo and honestly the whole film was just fun. My only real complaint is that the final battle was too short. Otherwise, I enjoyed the heck out of it!

120

Balcon @trainerbalcon.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Dragonheart vengeance This one was great! It's got fantastic characters and some awesome action scenes. Siveth was a major highlight and I ended up liking her as much as Draco in the original movie. The story was fun and engaging, and while not perfect, it's probably my 2nd favorite of the series!

110

Balcon @trainerbalcon.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

DragonHeart Battle for the heartfire This one was just ok. It has it's moments but it didn't hook me like the other films. Drago got done dirty, and while I'd be willing to give it a 2nd chance with some friends, this is my least favorite of the series.

Fury Bound Much better than the first book Marin was way more likable this time the first one made me want to throw her off a cliff at some points this actually made me excited for the 3rd book and hopefully the story keeps improving as it reaches its finale. I love Anassa shes awesome.
