6 years ago today I met this con artist and took this picture. A couple of days later I brought him home unaware he was playing the long con. Now years later he has embedded himself in my life, not unlike the ticks he attracts year round.

8 years ago today I got full, solo & permanent custody of my youngest son. 300 characters isn't enough to explain all the years that led to that or the ones since. There are endless flavors of autism. For my youngest, "I'll pick you up at 4" means 4:00pm exactly. His flavor also means he is super excited about the coat his mom had shipped to him because it's just like mine and we get to match. Get you a 22 year old kid who is as cool as mine
