RFK is a problem, and there are a lot of people who believe this stuff or he wouldn't be where he is. I have family who have been anti vax since the HPV vaccine came out. This has been a ground swell for a long time that I (and many others) brushed off as fringe. We must stop underestimating crazy.

Yes, and they're smart enough to understand human nature, psychological warfare, and cliques well enough to continue fooling far too many of us.

When non Trumpers have ever recommended universal basic income, people lost their damn minds. But Trump accounts are somehow ok. Interesting.

He's good enough to land wherever he wants and do what he wants. He's not going anywhere but a more open platform, whatever is next! Cowards gonna cow.

This is a legitimate question- what to call the recent legislation that was passed? I don't want to use the given name for it, because there's nothing beautiful in it. The ACA was dubbed Obamacare, so, what's this one going to be?

Trail/city? Flat/mountain? Hot/cold? Desert/lush? So many amazing options!

Yes, I'm originally from what I affectionately call a blueberry town in a red state. It takes courage to continue to show up and participate when you know that outside of a few local elections, your vote literally doesn't matter. Stay strong. We see you!

To those painting with broad brushes - Not everyone in red states vote red. Dems in red states take more shit than they would otherwise. Let's hold accountable those who support this disaster, AND remain decent humans. We can be sad and angry for the losses and still want the best for everyone.

What started as a picture-perfect trail running day ended up with a trip to the doctor for a dog bite. Antibiotics, pain meds, and at least one ruined day so far. If you are not fully in control of your pet at all times, you are part of the problem. Full stop.

I wore Salomon for many years and have good things to say. I wore their UltraGlide on the TMB route over a few days of trail running and no regrets. For muddier/more technical trails the Speedcross fits great but doesn't have much cushion compared to the high stack stuff these days.

I have liked the Salomon Ultraglide, Hoka Speedgoat, but honestly still looking for a favorite. I did over 150,000 feet of vert last year. Mt best advice is to keep effort steady, not necessarily pace.

They did not work for me, but I know others who like them. I'm not typically prone to blisters, but I got them consistently in that shoe around the forward arch/ rear ball of foot area. Brooks are my go-to road shoes, but not for trail. If you've run a bit before, you can train for 30k by April!

Love it! And, we need to find a way to focus on the true impactful policy disasters. The renaming of a body of water (however egregious) isn't going to hurt people. Other policies are. Focus there. Diversion and distraction are tactics they use to keep us off the trail of more important things.

These people are living in a different reality where the J6 attacks were peaceful, and their right to assemble was violated. I'm not kidding. These people are in my family. They used to not be *this* crazy, but here we are. Until we can crack that code, I don't know what will work.

Hate to break it to you, but the ones that don't are rare. Support your local credit union or independent advisors. At least then there's a chance at something better (but still no guarantee).
