3 weeks ago, the reduction of House shows was used as a justification for pay cuts for several wrestler. Yesterday, Paul Levesque & Nick Khan at a WWE meeting explained that house shows are, in fact, essential to talent development and plan to schedule more of them. Cynism. Sources in alt.

If TNA is bought out, it's a lose-lose situation : In the best-case, TNA becomes a satellite company whose sole mission is to annoy AEW. In the worst-case, The WWE-TNA will fail in this mission, WWE will throw away its new toy, as it has always done in the past, and that will be the end of TNA.🤼

Far from manly clichés, Adam Page is fascinating in his questioning of masculinist codes, opening up over the years about his failures, his successes, his demons, his depressions and now his redemption. The most complete & coherent character evolution for so many years now on US TV. What a Champ' 🤼

Glad there's a 100% women's PPV in WWE with Evolution, but there's a bitter taste in the making: -The 1st one was created in 2018 to counterbalance the backlash from shows in Saudi Arabia -This year, it's set up in part to counter-program AEW They DESERVE a PPV that isn't an excuse or a pretext 🤼

Who'd have thought it? Both WWE ID Championships will be open to all indie wrestlers. WWE got its foot in the door in the American indie scene. Little by little, they're trying to get in a little more. Not to kill it, but to control it and make it a little more like them every passing day. 🤼

Firing Gail Kim is one of the most baffling decisions I've seen a wrestling company make from a personnel standpoint. She's one of the most respected people in wrestling, and an instant "in" to have a conversation with almost any talent you want because of the respect she carries.

A company that can have a major creative, financial & formative influence on an independent scene is problematic in the mid-to long-term.
