I wanna watch Day of the Dead but I feel like I have to watch Dawn of the Dead again first, not because I don't remember it just because I love it so much

000

Ohh I didn't know the Cedar Rapids lore this is cute

010

259.) The Crazies (2010) The Crazies is such an interesting movie and they took it and made it just a normal ass movie, not a bad movie by any means just so much less interesting on most fronts

258.) Killer Klowns From Outer Space Rewatched alongside Gremlins and it's fun

I actually sought this movie out when I was about 10 because I wanted to find movies that were scary but kids could still watch it, then saw bits and pieces every christmas cause it's always on, NEED to get on the second one I remember it being very silly

257.) Gremlins I like the almost full hour of just nasty gremlins doing looney tunes gags

240

They do also play Great War of Heroes in the anime novella thing

010

REQUIRED READING FOR THE STRANGE FAKE LORE

I wanna run the Deniz Camp "REQUIRED READING" bit but that puts extra pressure on how long it's gonna take to finish the rest of these 15 volumes and that's too scary

020

Read Fate/school life to learn the SECRET HISTORY of Fate/Strange Fake

I think that Zero is the next logical step from this, SF is a sequel to Zero in a lot of ways, then from Zero they could go to El-Melloi, which also has a lot of ties to SF then they can do ProtoFrags, that gives ours a little extra time in the sun

040

Dude we made it, Type-Moon light novels!!

256.) The Crazies Losing my mind at learning that this one isn't very well liked, this shit is so good

255.) Friday The 13th Part 3 They rested so heavily on this 3D gimmick that they forgot to even write a movie

So, just in case anyone didn't know, I have a Patreon where I'm currently translating the revised and expanded edition of The Wings of Rean, Tomino's 2000+ page saga of sex and violence and (eventually) giant bug mecha. I'm almost a quarter of the way done. It's a lot of work. Like, a whole lot.

My excitement had been tempered because even if it comes out in theaters here it'll probably be in like May or something but having actual news about it is moving me

I still think it's very lovely that the effort of completing Seed Freedom and Freedom Zero is so focused on allowing the art of a woman who died 10 years ago to finally be made, it keeps feeling like Morosawa has one last trick up her sleeve

Fate/school life - Chapter 29-30 trafalgarlog.wordpress.com/2026/10/07/f...

254.) Psycho (1998) I'm intrigued by this, it's like watching the same play with a different cast, but then what is it about the medium of film that makes that effort feel futile? Is it futile if it makes me think? I think it sucks that he jerks off

Logan @trafalgarlog.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

253.) Bates Motel (TV Movie/Pilot) So this was gonna be an anthology show about vaguely supernatural stuff happening at a motel that just kinda happens to be from Psycho by pure coincidence? I kinda wish there was more but it probably wouldve prevented the BM show that people like from existing

Logan @trafalgarlog.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

252.) Resident Evil (Rewatch) I'm in my "so many people in my life that I see movies twice with different groups" era

120

(He likes The Stand obviously, not to misrepresent him)

000

I was told that Stephen King considers this "one of the rare great horror sequels" and partnered with its director many times because of that, so I was particularly excited for it but forgot that Stephen King often just has bad taste and the guy who told me this doesnt even like Garris' stuff

120

251.) Psycho IV: The Beginning I think it was intentional that they didn't spend the other movies showing us things that we are already told about Norman's childhood, its juxtaposition with the main plot makes sense but that plot doesnt start for like an hour

200

250.) Psycho III The cool status-quo reset at the end of II sort of sets this up to just be what you'd expect, and I don't find the "she looks like Marion" angle to be all that interesting of a place to go next, but there's good stuff to be found in here

249.) Psycho II The original horror Legacy Sequel may actually be the best one?

100

248.) Lanterns Ummm I think I liked it a lot overall

247.) Spider-Man: Far From Home Marvel Nights stop for no Halloween unfortunately

246.) Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings In this movie they imply that disabled children are half human half pumpkinhead

245.) Pumpkinhead Wait this is fire

100

244.) Prince of Darkness It's no In The Mouth Of Madness or The Thing but it's awesome

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY ASTRAY - Scoops 09-11 trafalgarlog.wordpress.com/2026/10/04/m...

041

241.) In The Mouth of Madness That's what I'm talking about man this is what movies are all about

Just found out that Maniac Cop isn't a spin-off of Maniac like Scanner Cop

020

Now that the war is over, we can implement the "ZGMF-666 Blood Murder Gundam"

031

ZAFT is like: "And here are our peacetime ceasefire weapons, CHAOS and ABYSS"

240.) Friday The 13th Part 2 We're doing this now, Pam had a lot more characterization but both movies take a long time to become interesting, not that they're bad
