He is the sweetest! He & his brother were rescued as a new born puppies after being tossed from a car & raised by foster parents. He’s the most well adjusted & well behaved rescue dog we’ve ever adopted. A really nice surprise as Ferris Drooler is the most challenging. They’re besties.

Our Finnegan has the opposite, an overbite.

Even once she was on the thyroid meds, Ruby always wanted a blanket. Not sure if she was still cold all the time or it was just habit. She was a wonderful dog, though, still miss her terribly.

He sure looks very content & relaxed in your photo! Winning their trust when they’ve suffered abuse is definitely a process. It’s been 3 yrs now, but our Ferris Drooler still backslides into fear responses when triggered. A trainer/behaviourist helped us learn his triggers & how to deescalate him.

Sadly, as far as I’m aware, they will only transport to these areas

He definitely lives up to his name 😂

These are our remaining three. My husband built an extension for the end of our bed so they could all fit when they wanted to get up for a snuggle.

Hi Morgan, Samantha and her husband are interested in Odin(see screenshot below), they live in Virginia Beach and have a cat, so they are particularly interested in how Odin is with cats.

One of ours, Ferris Drooler, is a BIG bloodhound crossed w/ what our vet reckons is Mastiff. He’s an absolute bruiser, pulls like a tractor! Walking him is a workout + deafening as he’s not just the strongest but also the loudest hound we’ve ever had, so people hear us coming before they see us!

Photo depicts (from left to right) Ferris Drooler, an extra large sized liver coloured bloodhound, standing next to his adopted sister, Delilah, a merely large sized liver coloured bloodhound, at the top of the upper deck, surveying their kingdom😂

Ferris Drooler, our bloodhound/mastiff mix was abused before we adopted him, the Rescue Org had few details, but from his many scars & obvious trauma, it was bad. It’s taken time but he knows now he is safe, loved & part of our forever pack. He’s still rather a d*ck sometimes, but we love him dearly♥️

It certainly does! It is absolutely part of the gutter press and if they reported that the sky was blue, I’d still be sure to go outside to check. Isn’t it interesting, though, that someone is making use of said gutter press in this situation? Who benefits?

TraceyT @traceytaylor.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I agree. However, it’s very interesting that someone sure WANTS everyone to see this story.

Photo depicts the 1st page of a Google search result showing a wide array of various “media” reporting that King Charles has disinherited William and is leaving $2 Billion of his personal fortune to Harry. (NOT that the sheer number of outlets reporting it makes it true be but it certainly seems someone wants it seen and believed!). An interesting choice by whomever is putting this out there. Cui bono?

I agree 💯, they’re are wonderful dogs!♥️ My Mum & Dad’s darling boy, Duke⬇️

They are definitely not anything a human would enjoy but great treats for dogs and cats. We live on an island and my husband loves fishing, so we always have lots of fish to use. We cut them into small squares and give them to the dogs as treats.

Photo depicts a recipe for homemade dog treats made from fish. Definitely not anything humans would likely wish to eat but dogs (and cats) generally love them.

It’s included in the post, maybe didn’t come through? Pasting a screen shot below. His markings - the “pumpkin seeds” above his eyes are a hound dog trait, wonder if he’s got a bit of hound dog in his ancestry.

🙏♥️ I wish the same to you!

🌱Hound proofing of apple tree complete, hopefully it works! As we discovered last year when we finally had our very first big crop of peaches on the peach trees, the hounds will literally keep stealing & eating fruit till they vomit, then rinse and repeat. It was horrendous. I’m still not over it!

Our Jed (passed away from cancer early last year) absolutely loved toys, he would take them everywhere with him. He’d even sleep with them. He destroyed stuffies quite quickly but the hard rubber ones like in the photo lasted him quite a while.

These are ours- Samson, the blonde bloodhound at the back passed from cancer 6 months ago, the other 3 (from R to L) are Finnegan, Ferris Drooler & Delilah and are very much alive and well. All rescues, we love them dearly. We had 6 in total but lost another to cancer a few months before Samson.

They only allow adoptions by people in these specific States and none from 🇨🇦 either.

Photo depicts a crude map showing the only States from which people are permitted to adopt dogs from NYCACC. Sadly, NYCACC literally chooses to regularly kill scores of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens rather than allow adoptions by anyone other than those living in the few North Eastern States depicted.😞

🌱It’s called a Cosmos. They come in a variety of colours. We also grew this *new (*to us) apricot coloured variety.

I’m so very sorry. We lost 2 of our dogs to cancer this past year, had to do the same for each of them. They really do, in their own way, let you know when. Not that it makes it any easier😞. It is the very last act of kindness we can do for them, though🙏♥️.

Photo depicts from left to right, 3 bloodhounds: Samson, Jed and Delilah, along with Ruby, a redbone cougar hound. Lost Samson & Jed both to cancer this past year, Ruby to thyroid disease a 2 years before that. Delilah is now 13, still alive and, thus far, still healthy. She still has 2 brothers, Ferris Drooler and Finnegan (also bloodhounds) to keep her company.

We lost Jed and Samson both last year, both to cancer. We’d foster failed with Samson only a few weeks before we did the same with Jed. They were the same size and age, died within a few months of each other, both from cancer.

Thanks. He passed away last year from cancer. Jed was a wonderful boy who we fostered for a single day before deciding to adopt because we loved him immediately and vice versa. We had 6 wonderful years with him before he died at age 12.

Our three ⬇️. We had 5 but lost 2 to cancer this past year. Sadly, bloodhounds tend to be particularly cancer prone.
