pHsueh has a few comics about that over on www.pixiv.net/en/users/403..., but most go into NG++ spoiler territory

These techbros have a playbook to lump their scam-of-the-day with history to make it sound inevitable and you're the fool opposed to it. Sometimes the mask drops and you get their real motive: "make money or get out of the way." They don't give a damn about science or anything else.

Old Twitter screenshot showing a typical techbro harping on about crypto is the next technological step forward, then immediately dropping the act to show their true colors.

"Oh boy, not another romantic fool with idealistic ideas about saving the world. Make money or get out of the way."

I've donated 100 old gaming magazines to the Video Game History Foundation so far, and I still have two totes I need to go through and send over to them. I've seen a few pop up as people post their Mystery Box subscriptions online, which is always cool to see.

Two plastic totes full of GamePro magazines, Nintendo Power magazines, and various strategy guides I intend on donating to the VGHF.

Reminds me of the little signs they put up around the West Baden hotel in French Lick, Indiana. Real "Why should I change? He's the one who sucks" energy coming from these signs.

That combination of words just unlocked some memories of browsing the dedicated MST section over on the Tenchi Muyo Fanfiction Archive and reading riffs of bad fanfic.

Pictured: Google spraying this AI shit everywhere in a desperate attempt to make it stick and justify the billions wasted on a product no one asked for.

I was hoping this would fix the glitchy text in Dragon Quarter, but it looks like something else is breaking the text here. Is this a known issue?

Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter title screen, taken with PCSX2 v2.7.279 with AA1 enabled. All the text is glitchy like the transparency is corrupted or something.

Title screen grabbed from an old LP on Youtube. The text is much clearer here, so there has to be something going on with the emulator.

This is Hikari and I think all my screenshots are of her giving someone the side-eye.

I still have it on this old laptop for some reason. Judging by the release notes, even they don't remember the Twitch desktop app.

Twitch Desktop App release notes, most recent update is from January 3, 2019.

Scammers were pushing this exact same argument when crypto was their scam of the day. They don't give a damn about scientific advancement - it's just "make money or get out of the way."

Never say words like "find" or "download" to the PCSX2 community if you ever want help from them. That's pirate talk. Makes it tricky to request changes for the cover downloader that already exists in their emulator though.

Like A Dragon Gaiden just dropped a "Several cutscenes will play in sequence..." warning on me like it's FFXIV. Let's go!

This shot of Dark Souls cosplayers posing in a parking garage really illustrates how much "Dark Souls in a mall" would own.
