#5 In place of specific pronouns, (he, she, they, etc), people have the option of using a prefix to imply a sliding scale of femininity, androgyny and masculinity to anything of choice- more of one ≠ less of another. If no prefix is appended, gender neutrality is assumed regardless of the subject.

#2 The mission that the cast goes on is called the Xyphris (of which they're on the 14th ship), named after Xyphrete, the god of the Cosmos. Prior to this, other missions' names did not have origins in the global language.

#1 Canonically, the cast speaks in Aera-Nea’Ain (their global language) and the show is dubbed into English. This language is taught secondarily to the user's native language as a means of unifying the planet further, making a far easier means of communication between people who wouldn't otherwise.

As a way to pass time and try and inspire eachother to work faster, a competition was made out of it to see who could be the most helpful! There's no recovery centers, magic powers, nor even a lifeline home. The most everyone has is themselves, their skills, eachother and the supplies on the ship.
